  • An ultra impressive ode to the golden era of Hip-Hop

by CC on 9/21/24Citizens House of Blues Boston - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

This was maybe my 4th time seeing Common perform and my 1st time seeing Pete Rock. Pete Rock was incredible and This was potentially the Best version of Common I have seen yet. The songs were, as always, incredible. However, this show was so well thought out and meticulously planned, it was a joy. It was 1 part rap concert/1 part theater/ and 1 part history lesson. I would recommend any show with these artists, but this tour in particular is special. Unforgettable experience. 5 stars. 10 mics. Common and Pete Rock put together an incredible experience with this one.

  • Nice Show!

Awesome Event! Nice venue. Show started on time. Common in the basement was awesome!

  • Common/Pete Rock had a fantastic performance

by BBey on 9/19/24Baltimore Soundstage - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

The VIP SEATS were extremely nice. We both had an amazing time. The music was superb and I really appreciate the nostalgic set (Floor model television, couch, turntables, crates of records, vintage posters) super dope. Please bring more high caliber artists like Common to the Baltimore Soundstage. Thank you again

  • An Evening For Real Hip Hop

by Dash Inc on 9/18/24Brooklyn Bowl Nashville - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Started with a quick 🔥 set to get things moving from DJ C LO, surprised to see Your Old Droog appear with Edan to cap off the opening acts; they brought some raw hip hop energy. Common and Pete Rock both brough an incredible catalog with them, combined with their recent album AND crafting beats and rhymes on the spot. When the first act was still forming, I heard the guy in front of me say 'this is an evening for real hip hop' and when the show finished I kept repeating the same thing to myself. Speaking to Common + Pete Rock after the show was the cherry on top. Thanks again for making a stop thru Nashville on y'alls tour for the fans that live here and love you guys 💎

  • Awesome show from Common and Pete Rock

by Phil on 9/17/24Baltimore Soundstage - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

The show was excellent overall. Common has always been one of the culture's best performers and this just extends that legacy. Seeing Pete Rock on stage for the first time was incredible as well and getting to see his tastes as a DJ felt so good. The venue was awesome, too.

  • Great Show

by Rere on 9/17/24Baltimore Soundstage - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

Common left it all on the stage. It is so refreshing when an MC sounds like his records. His performance was refreshing. Pete Rock we got a chance to say hello to after the show, what an experience to be around greatness.

  • One word: Amazing

The show is dope. All true hip hop for us old heads that complain about our genre of music being trash for years.

  • Great Show!!

  • Common and Pete Rock were DOPE!!!

Tickets reasonably priced....the VIP lounge was nice but food and drinks severely overpriced...The concert itself was FIRE!!!

  • Live Show from Start to Finish

    by A.T. on 9/14/24The Fillmore Charlotte - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

This was a live show. Common came out with a lot of energy and in case you forgot he's got a lot of hits. I wanted to see more of Pete Rock but for some reason he was just chilling. The few times he did grab the mic, he killed it and had the crowd hype. He was mainly DJing with another DJ they had on set with them. So I was disappointed from the stand point of wanting to see more PR but it was still a live show.

  • Incredible

by Atlvenue on 9/14/24Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

The auditorium tour was a family affair at the Buckhead Theater. Common and Pete Rock took all attendee's to their basement! It was incredible! Common vibed, told stories, very energetic throughout the whole show, and engaged with the crowd the entire night. He is a true lyricist and a hip hop legend and will always remain within my top five! Pete rock showed the crowd how he creates beats, just amazing! We had an amazing time! Thank you to Common and Pete Rock for a great show and setting the bar for what a true rap concert should consist of!

  • Great Overall Performance/Stage Show

by Noble Vessel on 9/14/24Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

This wasn't your typical Hip Hop show! I would categorize this as a mix of performance and stage show given how heavily skits and the stage design inspired by Pete Rock's basement factored into the show. Everything was purposeful to create a quality presentation, transition from song to song, and introduce opportunities for crowd engagement. On top of that they performed joints from the new album and all the hits/favorites from each of their respective catalogs with some innovative tweeks to that kept the crowd on their toes. One of the best live Hip Hop shows I've seen. Would recommend catching them if you can on one of their remaining dates. Shout to DJ E Clazz & DJ Dummy for doing their thing on the ones and twos. @yourolddroog and his DJ as an opening act did their thing despite a tough crowd. It was a great night! All around a great show. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

  • A Phenomenal Performance

by Arnett / 42 Frames on 9/13/24The Fillmore Charlotte - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

Attending Common’s concert at The Fillmore was nothing short of an unforgettable experience. From the moment DJ Dummy and DJ Pete Rock set the tone with his legendary beats, the energy in the room was electric. The crowd was buzzing, and when Common hit the stage, he brought the house down. His performance was masterful, seamlessly blending his new album with classic hits that had everyone rapping along. The Fillmore was the perfect venue for this type of show – intimate yet vibrant, evoking the feel of those legendary underground basement performances in New York. Every beat, every lyric felt personal, making it a night that fans will talk about for years at least I know I will for sure. Common didn’t just perform, he connected with the audience, delivering pure energy and soul throughout the night. It was a true celebration of hip-hop at its finest.

  • 2 LEGENDS, 1st time seeing both!

by CLTKid on 9/13/24The Fillmore Charlotte - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

The Fillmore is my favorite venue and I am so happy this show was here. Common and Pete Rock were phenomenal. They played my favorite track off the new LP, “Fortunate” amongst countless hits from their legendary catalogs. Good times!
