    Been better

by cpteacher on 6/29/16Lincoln Theatre - COLUMBUS

Where is the diversity in the CGMC? Only white men are gay? MJ is spinning in his grave. Ease on Down the Road was awful. It should have been a highlight, not the worst song of the night. Also, perhaps, have the men who can't dance in the back. It was obvious that many of the men in the front were counting while dancing.

This presentation of sacred music in a beautiful church was very uplifting and rewarding. The group performed very well. It is a fine outreach effort to the wider community.

    So much fun!

    by Lady20 on 3/16/16Lincoln Theatre - COLUMBUS

Why did we wait so long to attend a CGMC concert??? What a blast! We loved everything about it, from the music to the costumes to the choreography. Nina West added a really fun element to the show as well. Can't say enough good things about it! Looking forward to the next show!

Pure Entertainment! A great night at the theatre!

by SuzyLR on 3/14/16Lincoln Theatre - COLUMBUS

Columbus Gay Men's Chorus show made for a wonderfully entertaining evening out! Their voices are spectacular, the show was fun, funny, and sentimental...with great dance numbers and a fair bit of comedy thrown in as well thanks to the extraordinary Nina West! Also, if you have never been to the Lincoln Theatre, it is incredibly lovely! We have already booked seats for the Gay Men's Chorus' next Columbus performance at the end of June. (FYI, make sure you book your tickets through Ticketmaster which charges the base price of $30-plus some fees --as opposed to ticket agencies that buy up blocks of seats and resell them for a fortune!)

Once again a very delightful evening watching the Chorus! The tunes were many and very nicely done. Their dance moves were splendid! Looking forward to the Oz performance in June!

    Columbus gay men's chorus (Joy)

by Rdiesel on 12/18/15King Avenue United Methodist Church - Columbus

The gay men's chorus set a great mood for the holiday season as this was the first time we were able to attend an event with them. We strongly suggest others to attend their performances. We can't wait for the next one!

    Columbus Gay Men's Chorus "Joy"

by Tommaso1 on 12/15/15King Avenue United Methodist Church - Columbus

The performance was very professional. Yet the atmosphere was warm and intimate. I brought my Mom and my sister to the 2pm performance. They were thrilled. Didn't expected a live orchestra. wow.

Put me in the Christmas spirit!

by gillji on 12/15/15King Avenue United Methodist Church - Columbus

Excellent concert for the whole family! There were 8 of us and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! It was difficult to hear the director when he spoke and I would have enjoyed a little more comedy like last year but I was NOT disappointed! Beautiful voices in perfect harmony!

    Excellent

by ProfOsu on 7/1/15Lincoln Theatre - COLUMBUS

The program was wonderful, made even more special because of the timing (the Supreme Court's decision two days earlier). My wife and I very much enjoyed it. I urge others to see the choir in the future. (This was our first time.)

    Great Show!!

The chorus was excellent, good diction and intonation. Programming was very good, for the 25th year retrospective. Enjoyed it very much.

    CGMC was very entertaining!

    by Benny43812 on 3/25/15Lincoln Theatre - COLUMBUS

The 2-hour show was well-worth the time spent for a Sunday afternoon. The opening act (Brotherhood/ Community) was non-traditional, very lively and singers were undeniably enjoyed every minute of their performance too. The Illuminati's (Outreach) performance was equally fantastic from a slightly formal approach. Kudos guys! I thought all the solos were very nice and strong; and the whole group performed at their very best.

I was amazed by the professional standards of the Columbus Gay Men's Chorus. They really sang beautifully and entertained the audience with a great selection of music. The pace and the staging were also done at a tasteful and professional level. I thoroughly enjoyed this concert and will definitely not miss the next one!

by Kejan on 12/12/14King Avenue United Methodist Church - Columbus

The harmonies were fantastic,;the timing impeccable; and the comedic numbers were extremely well done. I would recommend this concert to anyone who loves music. We live 300 miles from Columbus and plan to make this trip at least annually to see the CGMC!

Not your typical choir! SO much better!

by JustinMarks on 12/12/14King Avenue United Methodist Church - Columbus

From the first note of the first song, I was captured by the voices of these talented men. They sang a variety of holiday music and had some humor mixed in. What I liked most was how well their voices mixed together and the overall sound. This could easily become a new Christmas tradition for us. We are very glad we got to go.
