This was a very well done program.

by Cefil51 on 5/13/14Colorado Heights Theater - Denver

Went to see a young future performer and he was obviously having a very good time. The program moved along well and kept me smiling

The performance was amazing. Our 7 year old grandson was intensely watching throughout the entire concert, and we were not sure he was old enough. We were wrong, and he wants to come again!

    Colorado Children's Chorale was Amazing!

by Aulani on 4/15/14Boettcher Concert Hall - Denver

The Colorado Children's Chorale is composed of over 400 children. They have four different levels of talent or four separate choirs within the Chorale. If your looking for a professional event that is full of delightful, youthful and talented children, look no more. This event has something for everyone. What a breath of fresh air!

    chrictmas with Children's Chorale

by Franniek on 12/20/13Boettcher Concert Hall - Denver

Children did a very good job singing and their voices were beautiful. Unfortunately they did not look like they had any fun. Despite some effort to add acting to their singing (hand movements,a little dancing) the whole performance was very dry, lifeless and quite frankly boring.Seems to me that the Chorale needs a choreographer. The most fun were little children and their interaction with an audience. Silent night was beautiful. We may have been the only people that did not have children in the choir and most likely less emotionally involved with the performance. I feel it was a waste of money-with many shows available this time of the year it was a poor choice for us.

    Great Holiday Entertainment

by Ippswich on 12/18/13Boettcher Concert Hall - Denver

As always, the Children's Chorale delivered. The show was a delight, with a wide range of holiday music both traditional and new. My daughter, a Children's Chorale alum, was so overwhelmed there were tears of sentimental joy streaming down her cheeks. We had a wonderful time. Thanks to all of you who support the Chorale!

    Spring Fling Sing Swings!!

by NoniTee on 5/12/13Calvary Temple - Denver

What an enjoyable evening this was. Angelic children's voices followed by the award winning Sounds of the Rockies. However the highlight of the evening was the combination of the two groups singing America the Beautiful. It brought chills and tears!

It was a joy to watch and listen to the children in the Chorale sing Christmas melodies new and old. They made the Christmas spirit abound throughout the audience.

    Too many sleepy adult songs

by megsat on 12/18/12Boettcher Concert Hall - Denver

The kids are fabulously talented, but I really expected them to sing more kid-friendly songs. I definitely should not have brought my kids to watch this. There was really only one song my kids found tolerable and most of the songs made even me sleepy. It really was more of a concert for the parents of the kids in the choir than an actual event for the general public.

    Two words - Awe Some!

by Gabidad on 12/17/12Boettcher Concert Hall - Denver

Excellent job for three reasons; First, coaxing such disciplined talent out of these little ones is amazing; two, doing so while still maximizing the joy of the experience for them is so important - we were able to feel the great time they were having up there performing; and three, the energy, the songs, the arrangements, and the beautiful voices and delightful choreography brought us from laughter to tears and back. Oh Holy Night, especially in the wake of the events back east, with those pure young voices, filled us with such prayerful emotion. And then back to laughter as we left filled with the Christmas Spirit. Thank you.

A fun afternoon listening to youngsters sing. Well choreographed! Some familiar songs, some not so much. Reasonably priced.

Colorado Children's Chorale was fun and exciting

by afniv on 6/11/12Colorado Heights Theater - Denver

The Colorado Children's Chorale concert was very enjoyable. It was exciting to see the variety of songs and stage presence they can bring. I have never seen a choir do so much choreography on stage. The songs were a variety of selections and were all enjoyable. I'm looking forward to next year.
