The music of Colony House--an indie rock band made up of brothers Will and Caleb Chapman ,as well as Scott Mills and Parke Cottrell--is playfully self-described as "landlocked surf rock." Their personal genre designation is as much inspired by their hometown of Franklin, Tenn. as their new album The Cannonballers is; "In short, Tennessee was the inspiration for this project," frontman Caleb Chapman says. "We got to see the seasons change and experience our home again for the first time in a long time. I think I was falling back in love with Tennessee, and I started revisiting some old memories and old relationships in my head that pertained to certain geographical locations as well as just emotional places I had spent my most formative years." The band's music is built on pillars of honesty, accessibility and family, and much of TheCannonballers is too: within 11 tracks, the band delves into where they come from and how a place, and its memories, have made them.
Fun, entertaining and great sing along band! High energy show!
The owning band Little Image was awesome. Loved them.
What in the frick just happened!? My ears will never forget how awesome, wild, beautiful, lively, kind, banging their performance was. I came to watch old friends open for them and had no expectations from Colony House but WOW DUDETTS definitely love them. My expectations will forever be high as long ans they do what they do. Also Will you’re a great DJ.
These guys just keep getting better and better. This tour (The Cannonballers) was their best one yet. The energy was over the top. The sound was loud and in your face while also being perfectly mixed and clear as a bell. The audience interaction shows just how much the boys love performing for us the fans. Can't wait to see what they come up with next.
Colony House never disappoints. My 3 sons really love the band and their mom and I have become fans too! This show, our youngest actually got invited up on stage to play along on guitar to one of their songs. I was already a fan of their really well-crafted songs and great live show but am now also a huge fan of their kindness they showed that night at the House of Blues! Great band and well worth a ticket!
An absolutely amazing night at an epic venue. Colony House continues to amaze and impress every time I see them. They connect with the crowd and flat-out bring it all night.
This was an amazing experience! The show was great in every level, from the set list, the crowd work, the arrangements, the light & audio quality. We can’t stop talking about it! I would go to it again and again if I could.
Colony house is an amazing band performance wise. Their live versions of their songs were just as good as their recordings and their energy on stage was electric and contagious. You couldn’t help but nod your head along with each song. The opener Little Image was also fantastic and was by far the best opener for a concert I’ve ever seen. If you have the opportunity to, SEE COLONY HOUSE LIVE!
Colony House put on an amazing show. They sounded great, engaged the crowd, and gave the audience a fantastic experience. I love their music! The opening band sounded great and The Roxian was terrific as always. Please come back soon!
Unreal performance. One of the best shows I’ve ever been to. The set was tight and they played a good mix of their most recent album and some of their older music. Incredible engagement with the audience too! Whether you’re front row or in the back of the house, this will be one of the best bands you get to see live. Awesome awesome performance and super fun atmosphere.
Until U2 opens up the Sphere in Vegas, Colony House remains the best live show around! Biggest drawback was a poor sound system at the venue, but the boys, as always, put on an amazing concert! If you're not a fan when the concert starts, you will be before it's over!
There isn’t much that tempts me to drive to Philly with my 15 year old daughter… but Colony House is TOTALLY worth it! What incredible talent and positive/fun vibe!!!
Super fun energy, tight performance, awesome crowd... I love this band so much!! Go see them!!! Also, the opening band, Little Image, was insanely good!
Colony house never… ever disappoints. Incredible show!
The band delivered and energetic performance with an excellent music execution.
Because this venue is so close to NYU, it attracts a young crowd. The audience was so loud during the opener, we were unable to hear them sing. Someone brought a beach ball in with the purpose of hitting the giant chandelier in the middle of the floor. The audience never shut up during Colony House’s set, and it feels like I wasted my money.
Colony House and Little Image put on such a fantastic show. It was my first time seeing Colony House and they blew it out of the water! My experience at the 9:30 club was easy and efficient- their people know how to get stuff done! It’s always been a fave venue of mine.
Would see CH every time they’re in town without a doubt. Would probably drive a couple hours if I had to.
THEY WERE AMAZING. been Lising to them since 2019 and seeing them live they blew me away!! the energy and talent is unmatched. also, the opener little image ROCKED! I'm obsessed!!
Loved every second of the show. Colony House is INCREDIBLE and the House of Blues was the perfect place to experience them live.
