  • Terrific Collin Raye concert

    No warm up band, no problem. Collin came on exactly on time(no one does that), sang for a solid hour and a half. Hit all the favorites and some bonus ones. Best of all, his voice sounded great! Sound system was very good too and was able to get home at a decent time. Enjoyed everything about it!

    Collin Raye was amazing! He sang some of his popular hits, plus some of his newer songs. It was such an intimate venue, so he talked to us like he knew each of us personally, and he was so playful and funny!

    He has a great voice and sounds just like he did 20+ years ago but him and Sammy Kershaw almsot seemed like they didnt want to play their hits at times. 4 cover songs and at least 2 from newer albums was a bit much. Also the ticket prices have skyrocketed for artists of their level 50 dollars for cheap seats is a lot for musicians of their status, usually you can get cheap seats for 20-35 for musicians such as that, maybe that explains why there selling so few tickets…

    Collin Raye’s singing was great. I was a little disappointed that after waiting a whole hour for him to come on, he only sang for a little over an hour. It also felt like he was rushing through all the songs.

    I have been a fan of Collin Raye since he began recording in the 90’s and was thrilled when I saw he was performing at the fireman’s benefit - twice the bang for my buck seeing Collin live and helping such a worthwhile cause. Driving to and from my home state of Missouri twice a year for 15 years to visit family and friends, my Collin Raye CD’s have provided soothing entertainment for an otherwise long road trip. Now I can hardly wait to get his book and read about a really good guy who deserves a lot more appreciation than people know. Would have bought it at the concert and had him autograph it for me but chose to stand at stage for excellent close up pictures and get to shake his hand instead. Thank you for providing such good clean entertainment (my 92 year old Mom came to concert with me and loved it, too!) and thank you for all the services you provide to our community. You are truly the heroes we respect and look up to.

    It has been 20+ years since the last time I saw him live...just as good if not better. It was a nice intimate show, enjoyed immensely!!
