    Great show

by 1bobk on 3/12/18New Jersey Performing Arts Center - Newark

I’ve seen other performances of his that were televised after the fact but never in person We were looking forward to this show for a long time and we’re not disappointed. He has high energy and quick delivery. Only disappointing aspect were his 2 opening acts. Neither was particularly good. Audience response was on par with the sounds of laugh tracks from a tv sitcom.

Colin was fantastic. His delivery is so rapid, it's insane. His intellectualism balanced with sarcasm is so much fun to watch.

    Colin is King!

by ComedyForLife on 1/15/18Valley Forge Casino Resort - King of Prussia

Tim Gage, the opener, warmed up the crowd with his everyday-man, relatable look at family. His stage presences is easy and comfortable, obvious pro. I've seen Colin many times, and he is always the smartest and funniest man in the room (building, most likely). He speaks fast, but if you can keep up, you will be thinking about the trail of observations that lead to the monster joke for the next few days. His observations on the world are unparalleled. The only critic I have is the venue. The sound system was pretty bad. There was a bar set up in the back of the room and you could hear the ice rattling around as the bartendar made drinks. Acoustically, not so good. As far as the people who worked the event - top notch! Extremely polite and helpful. Listen, do yourself a favor - go see Colin. Always thought provoking and the funniest.

    Extremely Disappointing

by Ernie8414 on 1/15/18Valley Forge Casino Resort - King of Prussia

Wow, still can’t get over home disappointing the show was... just not funny at all. I was with a group of (6) for a guys night out. We didn’t laugh and were lost trying to understand Colin’s humor. He only had one funny joke that was his last... “Tulsa.” Don’t waste your money... this is not the old Colin Quinn!

    multiple avenues of funny

by UndefeatedBagO on 1/15/18Valley Forge Casino Resort - King of Prussia

after a slow start, ,which lasted only about 5 minutes, Colin Quin was very funny - turned a fly that was buzzing the stage in to a great rif on animals - I'd go back to see him again

    Some of his best work

by jebswebs on 12/3/17Port City Music Hall - Portland

I knew CQ when he was a kid in Brooklyn and have followed his career over the years in books, TV shows, films and SNL. I never thought these suited him well. Stand-up is clearly where he is at his best and this show was excellent. Quinn's comedy may not be for everyone. It's edgy, at time profane, New York-centric and probably will appeal more to people of my generation than the younger crowd. The show featured two other warm up acts which were also pretty good. But, Quinn demonstrated that he is a master in this environment and for 90+ minutes had me hanging on every word. I first knew Quinn as a goofy, long-haired kid from Park Slope with a devilish sparkle in his eye and wise-ass disposition. Glad to see he hasn't lost that (except maybe the hair). BTW, the venue was also quite excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful; service was great and affordable.

    Cop Show

by Polargirl on 5/11/15online - New York

Wow! Colin truly is a genius, & this parody demonstrates his artistic/creative range. The dialogue & Jim Norton in the Rat episode are hilarious ,- but I think Pat Cooper will be the hardest act to follow. He is so funny & so authentic - acts & sounds just like my father, who is also from Brooklyn. Jake Hammond is well cast and does a terrific job right from episode 1 to the finale. I think the show needs only 3 things - 1) Colin needs a name, 2) Colin needs a sidekick e.g. - Sherlock/Watson, McGarrett/Danno, Kojak/Crocker, 3) it needs a female DA to repeatedly demand "admissible evidence" and to argue with the cops that they can't use the frozen heads they brought in from the suspect's freezer because they didn't have a search warrant, and that his confession is no good either because when he asked for an attorney instead of ending the interrogation, they persisted, got physical and beat him - all because they were so emotionally involved in their case. L Studios is very pragmatic in its funding here - it's a solid bet on Colin's unrivaled talent. I hope they get the full benefit they deserve for sponsoring Cop Show and recognizing the genius in the observant and incredibly witty sociologist that is Colin Quinn.

    Tom Papa was great!

by Zoae on 4/21/15Belterra Casino Resort and Spa - Florence

TOM PAPA WAS GREAT!! A lot of the people around us didn't know who he was. They were there to see Colin Quinn because he was once a Sat. Night Live member. I 1st saw Tom Papa's 1 hr routine " Freeking Out " a couple of years ago on TV. Then followed him on You Tube. He needs more exposure because he is very talented and relates to the 99% of the population's every day situations. COLIN QUINN seemed like it was a chore just being there and we left after 10-15 min. of his set. He's ok but Colin couldn't follow the great performance of PAPA. Tom Papa. Papa should have been the headliner.

    A little too liberal

by Robr on 8/26/14Belleayre Music Festival - Highmount

Overall the comedy was good. However, it is political and I was disappointed that he went after George W. Bush heavily, and a bit hateful, while going easy on Obama. I would have preferred that he was more fair and balanced.

Love him, not sure what happened

by JudithPop on 4/21/14Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - Bethel

Maybe it was a risk, Good Friday, the beginning of Passover and not a lot of summer folks in he area. I am sure comedians have to depend on audience responses as well. I have always loved his delivery, somehow it fell flat in places. Keep bringing comedians in please, plan it a bit better! Timing is everything in comedy!!

    Comedic Genius

    by ASeattleGirl on 12/9/13Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

Amazing show. Smart. Hilarious. Interesting. It went too fast. I've been a huge fan of Quinn since his days hosting Tough Crowd, so it was great to see him live. Who knew the constitution could be this much fun.

Colin Quinn is both the brightest and the funniest

    by BillyBatts70 on 11/18/13The Egg - Albany

Colin Quinn simply killed. His style is such an asset. He's got so many different mannerisms and habits that just improve his whole show (and every set, i'm sure). He trails off , compulsively says "ya know," and speaks quickly to begin with, but it all just helps endear him to the audience. Even with such a formal show, it makes you feel like you're hanging out in his apartment, just talking shit about the country (relax, i'm a patriot. like him). "Unconstitutional" was a truly great show, and much like "Long Story Short," it was smart. This is not some hacky sequel; it's just similar in tone, kinda like his Casino. totally unique, THOROUGHLY hilarious, and worth the price of superbowl tickets. I'd see the show again tomorrow if I could. He'll never get a truly fair shake, but one day, he will no longer be the most underappreciated talent out there.

    Awesome show!

The show is simply wonderful, hilarious and very well thought and researched. I enjoyed every single minute of the show. The wireless microphone did not work well, but crew and performer were very flexible using the 'back up' microphone to solve the isseu
