Colin James Rocks as always , Excellent musician and vocals

by Spud on 10/7/22Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Been to lots of concerts in my years Seen James 6 times now , probably the most memorable as he took it to the next level interacting with the audience , He was happy to be out touring again , I feel this had a lot to do with it as he mentioned also just that . Appreciates his fellow musicians and also brought up local Big Dave Mclean and they did a tune . Many guitars he owns , wonder if he has a Rhoads Concorde in his collection ? Dude is a class act and puts on a great show Much respect to you Colin Cheers

His voice, energy, his band band, the opening band and then Ally came out an jammed with him!!! He’s engaging on so many levels. He is a great musician. His one of Canadas greatest musicians! I wish there was space for those of us who wanted to dance.

    Colin James rocks the Burt!

by Roman-the-Back-woods on 10/7/22Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Great, show! Colin had great energy, band was tight and sounded awesome. Of course really liked and knew his older stuff but have really been turned on to his new "bluesy-rock" and think I like that even better. Colin's voice and guitar-playing never sounded better.

    Colun James ages just fine

by Baxman on 10/6/22Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Really good show, harder bluesier with more covers than his past shows. Ayed for over 2 hours and really engaged the audience as he opened to Voodoo thing walking down ghe aisle ripping on his guitar. Came into the audience a few more times during the show. Overall it was another solid show from an artist that always delivers.

    Outstanding Performance!!

by Rick & Alice on 10/5/22Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Colin James is a phenomenal showman. He gave us everything that we could ask for. A ton of blues giving tribute to all the greats plus quite a number of his hits that I had been longing to hear live for a long time, including Freedom, A Man’s Gotta Be a Stone (totally shook the place) Into The Mystic and Johnny Coolman. He gave each of his band mates plenty of opportunity to shine and they did not disappoint. Plus, he talked quite a bit between songs, which I personally appreciate. There is no doubt he loves playing Calgary and the Jubilee in particular, and we showed him how much Calgary (and Area) loves him.

    Show was okay

by Mitch on 10/3/22Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Opening act sound was terrible. Colin's performance was much better. Only offering ticketing via phone is really poor. I was lucky that I could borrow son's phone as I don't use cell phones.

    Music volume

by Andy on 10/3/22Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Music was great but so loud that all instruments mixed together and unfortunately I had to close my ears by ear plugs, did not hear voice of Colin Games clear. Did not enjoy to much from the concert. I expected somebody will adjust music volume and balanced it. Sorry.

    Never ever disappoints

by KT on 10/3/22Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Colin is a true Canadian legend who never ever disappoints. Saturday night was no exception. He gave us everything he's got! Mastery at the world class level on every level By the crowds reaction it wasn't just me who appreciated the song choice and instrumental dynamics. I lost count as to many guitar changes he made! Hard to imagine how he and his band pull off such a generous preformance after being on the road. Awesome to witnes his generosity towards his young and very talented opening act. Only downside is that you're confined to dancing in place. I guess that's what outdoor festivals or the commodores for.

    Did Not Disappoint

by Crazy for Colin on 12/29/21Festival Place - Sherwood Park

I was a little concerned when he first came out and sounded a little hoarse, wearing a scarf. But he didn't miss a beat and as usual the concert was great! With just the Trio it was quite bluesy, as I have seen him do in the past. It is a pleasure to watch someone who loves his craft and it is very obvious he enjoys what he does. The smaller intimate venue was nice and the atmosphere was light and relaxed. Especially after the distracting drunk couple in the balcony was asked to leave at intermission. I have seen Colin James perform 7 times and I already have my tickets for his March show. He is one of my favorites and he never disappoints the crowd.

    Awesome night!

by Deanna on 11/22/21Festival Place - Sherwood Park

The Venue at Festival Place was a great intimate location to see Colin James belt out his old and new songs in that great bluesy voice of his. The music was fabulous, the second balcony box was fabulous. A night to remember!

I was a fan of Colin's growing up in Regina as a kid - and still am. Does this guy play a guitar. Incredible musician and I will never tire of going to his shows.
