Colin James Tickets

Colin James sounds as hot as he did 30 years ago. His voice is timeless! He had just as much range and energy as ever, and his big band was totally on point. It was a fantastic evening. The only thing that was frustrating was the sound mixing. There was way too much bass, and we couldn’t hear the solos from the big band. The saxophones, trumpet and trombone were barely audible because of the club-esque mix job. Otherwise, the concert was exceptional, and I would definitely see this again!

Colin James and the Little Big Band performed an amazing show highlighting Vancouver product musicians. A little disappointed on the Reserved Seating issue that the Commodore has now implemented, just another cash grab. Much nicer when you could sit and share the experience with our concert goers at the large tables they have now removed for standing room only.

Loved he brought back so many original members of the Little Big Band. The Commodore is such a great venue and they were in full swing mode. Had a great time. Thank you Colin James.

If you are a Colin James fan his big band concert version is a must see event. All of his shows are great but these ones take it to another level.

I have seen Colin and band mates many times over the last 30 years! Never disappointed. The music is always top notch. I love that he always seems to be enjoying the music as much as we are!

The venue was amazing adding to an incredible show. With this being my 27th time seeing him live, I can say he never disappoints. Can't wait for the next show!

Colin James concert was excellent. His playing skill is outstanding. He can really make his multiple number of guitars scream and wail. Loved that his voice is as perfect as ever. He seems ageless. Thank you Mr. James and incredible band.

Colin lives his audience and it shows. Great report, great music and a whole lot of fun with the band.

Colin James performed his usual excellent show with a mix of new and old favorites. Every Canadian music fan should know his name and put him up with the greats.

This was my first show at the Gray Eagle Casino and it was amazing. Colin James has still got it going on he's 59 years old and he's still rocks it with the best. The sound was great the music was fantastic the lighting was great everything made the show absolutely perfect. I definitely got my money's worth. My seats were amazing although they cost me half an arm and a leg but it was worth it. I'm the kind of person that when I want to see somebody I want to be in a good position because I don't see concerts very often so this was a real treat.

The sound for most of the concert was too loud for the venue and Colin's vocals with the exception of quiet blues pieces were virtually drowned out. It spoiled the show for me. This should have been adjusted by the sound techs when they did sound checks and again during the show.

Fabulous show, with a great mix of older favorites and new music. Colin James thrilled the audience with polished performance. A real crowd pleaser

Aside from the bass player being WAAAAAAAY too loud, the show was FANFREAKINTASTIC!!!!

The show was really good. Casino Rama needs more leg room in the seating area. Both my husband and I have had knee replacements and found it very difficult to sit through the whole show. We left at 9:30pm because we couldn't sit in the tight space any longer. But we where enjoying the show. Also do not agree with the bars in the entertainment center. People constantly walking in front to go to the bars. The show itself was very good.

The venue was excellent with bars and food availability. They were very accommodating to me with my disability The concert and sound system was excellent Thanks for an awesome evening!!

I was 3 rows back from the stage so had a lovely view. My take on the evening….. the bass overtook all else so acoustically not a pleasant concert. Difficult to hear lyrics and the harmonica.

The venue of Massey Hall, now redone, was the perfect spot to hear Colin James and his band. The sound was perfect. He was in top form, as was his band and it was a pleasure to take it and the Hall back in.

It was an amazing show. First time at the new Massey Hall. So nice. Can’t wait to go to another concert.
