    Colin Hay still got it

    by crandall33 on 4/9/24Chevalier Theatre - Medford

An outstanding story teller and beyond brilliant musician Colin Hay still brings it. A true entertainer he takes you on a journey for a couple of hours and let you into snippet's of his life. In a world full of people who take themselves far too seriously it is refreshing to have someone who is not afraid to have a laugh at himself his music and his life. This is a man who has perspective and loves what he does and it shines through. See you next time when you are in town Mr. Hay.

    Great talent silly show

by Darren on 4/9/24Chevalier Theatre - Medford

Colin's voice hasn't lost a thing. Funny stories and "singing"the instrumental parts added to the show. Songs could have used a higher tempo.

    Songs and Stories

by BuddyK on 4/7/24Capital One Hall - Tysons

This is my second time seeing Colin Hay and it was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. It was a medium sized theater and we were 3 rows from the stage. Colin delivered an acoustic set that left the audience screaming for more. He told a bunch of really great stories about his life and other musicians that he has worked with throughout the years. Nobody wanted to leave. Excellent show.

    Great Concert & Venue!

by Al on 4/7/24Capital One Hall - Tysons

Colin Hay was absolutely fantastic - great storytelling, amazing guitar playing and his voice and music is timeless! Really happy that he came to a place that was close enough for us to travel to, and would do it again. And how cool was it to have his wife join him onstage at the end and sing a couple of songs with him?! First time at this venue and was impressed. Small hall, not a bad seat in the place. Staff was really friendly no matter what we asked or who we dealt with. Great idea to have multiple bars on the three different levels so never crowded, and nice option to be able to bring food/drink to your seat.

    Great showman

by AC on 3/30/24Lexington Opera House - Lexington

It was just Colin Hays , three acoustic guitars and a lot of great storytelling. He’s funny. Great sense of humor. Talented guitar player. You cant help but really like the guy by the end of the night. Didn’t know his new songs, which are most of the setlist. Didnt matter. He sets up each song so nicely. So glad I went to see him. Encourage all to do the same.

Colin Hay still has it. His voice is still at the top of his range. The best part of the show, or the stories. Amazing storyteller. Very funny and kept the audience on the edge of their seats.

    Solid intimate performance

by StevenD on 3/25/24Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

I have heard for years about the great show that Mr. Hay presents. It was all true. It is a stripped down stage - just him and a few acoustic guitars and some mixing pedals. The performance is a mix of acoustic performances - some reimagining of previous hits - and great storytelling. He tells of a life of curiosity, bemusement, and getting the most out of life. His stories of meeting his idols are particularly warm - I mean, what would any of us do if Paul McCartney was walking up our driveway or helping with the washing-up. One of the best performances I have seen in years.

    Colin Hay is a treasure.

by Flynner on 3/25/24Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

Maybe the most underrated musician and storyteller of the last 50 years. The most celebrated artists of the that time span know what a treasure he is.

    A beautiful musical journey

by Maridori on 3/25/24Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

It was a beautiful show. He is the quintessential storyteller and an amazing vocal performer. It occurred to me that he has voice has not lost anything in his 50 years of making music. His vocal range and his playing were stunning. I love that he mixed some of his early hits along with some of his beautiful solo works. It was a joy to be in the theater and feel his voice fill it and wash over all of us.
