About

Coast City Country is a Canadian country music festival in Vancouver, British Columbia that launched in 2024. The inaugural lineup featured headliners Luke Bryan, Nickelback and Dierks Bentley as well as rising country music stars such as Bailey Zimmerman, Brett Young, Walker Hayes and Elle King. Enjoyed the two day event! Only thing I was very very disappointed in was the fact that they did not have enough shirts or hoodies so was unable to get one!🥲Any info if more shirts will be available online or anyone willing to sell?

Great event - but don’t bother reading the fine print

    by Chiru86 on 4/24/24

This was my first time at a country music festival and I loved it!! Great idea to have multiple stages and so many great performers. Unfortunately, however, a few things were frustrating: - I checked all the fine print in the permissions/policies 2 hours before attending the event. The information said specifically that refillable bottles were allowed as long as they weren’t glass and so I took a plastic bottle to fill with water. At the door I was told that Live Nation changed their policy last minute but that the event website had the correct information. It did not and I was forced to leave my bottle behind. - Although people were given special wristbands to go in and out of the actual stadium, between stages, no drinks were allowed past the door, which made no sense. No indication of this either, that I saw. - The schedule changed without any notice. I changed my work timetables to be able to make my favourite shows and when I arrived, the timetables were different and I wasn’t able to attend the shows I wanted because they suddenly overlapped and had changed times. This should have been clear weeks or at least days ahead of the event.

    Tickets

Spent a lot of money for floor tickets. To only have an issue with the scanning of one of my tickets on the second day. It had said the ticket was already scanned but we had already gotten inside, and my second ticket was just fine.

Fantastic and amazing value for money !

by Sharon on 4/24/24BC Place - Vancouver

We loved this Festival, it was well organized and so many great artists performing. The ticket price for the whole weekend, just $99 meant it was the best value festival I’ve ever known ! Outside area was great and food and drink options were good, only complaint was the lines at ladies bathrooms between artists( as is always the way with ladies bathrooms, lol) can’t wait for next year !

Great acts, fabulous outside events as well

by Shand on 4/23/24BC Place - Vancouver

It was a great event, great acts. The only thing that would’ve made it better would’ve been less lineups for food and drinks. The lineups for drinks were far too long.

Great value loved the line up of talent

by Nicole on 4/23/24BC Place - Vancouver

An amazing time was had by all who were in my section. Only wish the venue was a bit smaller there were so many open seats all over the place. I felt bad for the performers who were looking out into that. Maybe they could have closed the upper area and moved everyone down lower to fill it up. This would have been fantastic in Roger’s. Next time I’d like to see more inclusive food choices my vegetarian friends had a challenging time to locate any food options other the fries the no in and out could have helped ease this if they provided wrist bands to all coming and going, but 3-12 is a long time with little to no food choices for anyone with dietary restrictions All in all it was the best event I had been to in a long time. The head liners absolutely did an incredible job putting on fantastic performances. Would absolutely go again if they did come back next year!!
