About CMA Fest

The Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience™ began in 1972 as Fan Fair®, which drew 5,000 fans to Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium. The legendary CMA Fest has become the city’s signature Country Music event that hosts tens of thousands of fans from all 50 states, Puerto Rico and 37 international countries. CMA Fest features hundreds of performances on multiple daytime and nighttime stages – all to benefit music education. Since 2006, a portion of proceeds from CMA Fest has been given to music education initiatives supporting students K-12 across the U.S. through the CMA Foundation. It’s thanks to you, the fans, as well as event partners and the generosity of the artist community donating their time that CMA been able to give back to deserving educators and students. Fan Fair with a twist

by Timmy Wayne on 6/14/23Music City Center - Nashville

It was nice to be in an air conditioned building. The artists were very pleasant. The whole thing is too spread out. Instead of pickle ball have concerts in that area. It appears artists are going to pictures and less or no autographs. The worst part was the lines. Those employees need to get it together as to lining up fans. People that should have been in line were pushed, shoved or cut out of the line. No one knew which booth the artists were in nor was it on the app. It was awesome for the $. After 25 plus years for me, we still need the older artists…their wealth of knowledge, them to feel needed, their music. Some people are sensitive to the sun, pollen, animals,…thank you for listening and putting on such a feat. Thanks the volunteers. Thanks for raising $ for the kids.

    Great Musical Experience

by Cid on 6/14/23Nissan Stadium - Nashville

All the acts were amazing and well thought out. The cost of everything associated with CMAFEST is excessive. Food and drinks make the event very hard to afford.

    CMA or Bust

by Shive71 on 6/14/23Music City Center - Nashville

I thought for the 50th anniversary of CMA Fest, there would be more. I think most in attendance thought it was a big let down. There are hardly any big names at Fan Fair anymore.

    Great Fun

by Ms.Lisa on 6/14/23Music City Center - Nashville

I had a blast - and never even got to the Music City Center so I wasted $25 on that ticket. The atmosphere was wonderful and I felt safe. That's a big plus! Can't wait until next year!!

Jelly Roll steals the hearts at CMA Festival

by ImaTwin716 on 6/14/23Music City Center - Nashville

The surprise performance by Jelly Roll at Nissan Stadium was absolutely magical! He stole the hearts of the entire stadium who gave him at least several minutes ovation. Seeing his tears of appreciation galvanizes the true spirit country music fans have for these special artists. All I can say is thank you to the CMA’s for a great festival!

    Hardy was Horrible

by Applejack on 6/14/23Nissan Stadium - Nashville

Hardy was anything but country. I know he is "rowdy" but while his talents as a songwriter are wonderful, his performance was anything but country. The only bright spot was when he did duet with Lainey Wilson. Recommend he not be at Nissan Stadium in future. For those who want to see him, he could be scheduled on another stage. Thanks.

    Won't Do It Again

by LocalGirl on 6/14/23Nissan Stadium - Nashville

We got a 4-Night Stadium pass this year - bad idea! It starts way too late in the evening. The worst part was being involved in the television filming. Things often had to be repeated to get the right cut, and singers were introduced on nights they weren't even there. All for t.v. That got old. It delayed everything too. I paid to see musicians and hear music, not assist in a t.v. production. The singers were great though.

    Unorganized

by Halie on 6/14/23Music City Center - Nashville

The lines for meet and greet are unorganized. I was waiting in the area for randy Travis at 10:45am when it came time to line up for him I didn’t get to be in line cause everyone else you got there at 2 ran and jump in front of everyone. I had two newborns with me so I move away and knew I wouldn’t be able to see him but atleast my husband did. Also if you don’t open the doors till 10 you should have somewhere for people to use the bathroom for emergencies especially with children. Otherwise the event was good

Underwhelming and appalling for it to be 50th!

by Jamie T on 6/14/23Music City Center - Nashville

For this to be the 50th anniversary, what an underwhelming experience. Not enough "surprises" for the fans. Not enough variety of performers. Alot of repeats over and over across the days. Signage and directionals for the attendees were lacking. Cross streets open on Broadway (in past were closed) made it miserable trying to navigate on only sidewalks. If this had been my first experience, I would never return.

    Concert Review

by Tom on 6/14/23Nissan Stadium - Nashville

There is way to much dead time between acts at Nisson. You need to bring more up and coming acts to play on the small stage while you are setting up/changing main stage. We paid for covert not to watch a commercial being filmed over and over do this on your time.
