Good show however trying to get into the show was awful.No assigned seating,arena was freezing and late getting us into the arena in cold temperatures.Once in the arena we had to stand in another line to wait to grab a seat.Needs to be more organized with assigned seats for future shows.It was a good experience once in and seeing what is required to tape a show with all the out takes.
General admission seating was bad. They started late and they hadn't rehearsed so we had to clap/cheer for the same act mutiple times. There was a guy trying to entertain us during clothing changes which was bad - not him personally, just the whole situation/experience since we didn't pay to listen to him talk and tell jokes. Would only go again if tickets were less than $5-10.

Doors were not open on time, speakers blocked the view of the stage, and we couldn't see the people on the stage. There were numerous technical difficulties that caused significant delays in getting started, and long delays between performances. I would NOT go to this event (especially general admission) again, even for FREE!
Lead to believe all tickets were $25.00. Purchased early and would have paid more if it had showed different pricing. This was a presale buy. My daughters 21st birthday present and it was the worst experience. Waited in line for 3 hrs and then another 30 min. Before being seated in the 300 section, Are you kidding me. And the performance sure did not help. Out of there early, I should have just thrown my money out the window. And for the 1 star this event did not even deserve that.
It flowed much better last year. The extended breaks between songs got tiresome and made the event way too long. PLEASE have reserved seats next year and don't make the audience stand for that long waiting to get in. Storme Warren was terrible and not needed as an emcee. The performaces were wonderful.
This was this first time my daughter and I have ever been to Nashville! We loved it and loved watching the CMA Christmas Show! Christmas is truly our favorite time of year and this was a perfect way to start the season. We loved seeing some of our favorite stars all in one show! Such a blessing! Can't wait to come next year.
All of the individual performances were excellent. Viewing the live taping added to the our enjoyment as we witnessed the mistakes as well. However, the taping segments had considerable time between them. We have attended post ACM taping sessions and those flowed much better. The ACMs had far less time between segments as they tried to make it go straight through. I will give the XM radio disk jockey credit for a good job at trying to entertain the audience during these long gaps.
I went last year and it was great! The show went very smooth and we were out within 2 hours. This year the show started late, people were not prepared and there were a number off issues. After suffering for over 2.5 hours, we finally left and there were at least 6 more performances left. The taping for a one hour show should not take that long, as was proven with last year's taping. So much for getting us into the Christmas spirit, all in all, what I saw of the show was disappointing and annoying.
Very unorganized! Was nice to see the Country Stars, but other than that boring! Will never go see another one!
Very unorganized. Afer three hours 5 more acts still had not performed. ...took forever between acts...all seating within levels was General Admission...needs to be assigned...actually an event that should have been an minimal charge if no cost at all.
ALL OF THE PERFORMERS WERE GREAT.THIS IS A YEARLY EVENT THAT EVERYONE SHOULD ATTEND TO GET A JUMP START ON THE HOLIDAY SEASON.
The concert was definitely a fun experience that I would like to do again with my wife. Though I would have liked to have known about it sooner so that I could have bought better level seats. However, we only stayed in the upper level for about 45 mins. As people left the lower level we were invited to move down. The only downside for the concert was that it seemed a little disorganized and probably could have been shortened by 45 mins to an hour by just having people ready and waiting for the next song. That is definitely why people left early and we were able to move down. To give some perspective it lasted from 7:30pm to past 11:30pm.
This was a taping of the CMA Country Christmas Show held at Bridgestone Arena. After a very long wait in line, and then another long wait at the entrance of our seating area....it was seamless after that. A great opp. to see a lot of performances...and it did get me in the Christmas mood albeit somewhat early. Jennifer Nettles is a great host, making the evening fun. In between the acts, Stormy from Sirius/XM Radio entertained just to keep it flowing. I thought it was all in all a great time. Wonderful ppl in Nashville!
It was a lot of fun, even though some of the down time seemed extensive.Jennifer Nettles did an amazing job hosting and singing. Everyone sang beautifully. Keith Urban and Faith Hill's songs were sung acapula and they were both at their very best. I don;t know why Brad Paisley didn't sing and where was Reba? Vince and Amy were an added blessing. Vince and Miss Piggy were hysterical. Loved Rascal Flatts and Kelly Pickler brought her own personality to the taping. Liked her performance a lot. Bottom line, everyone did a fantastic job once the kinks were worked out.
I was glad to have experienced this event, but probably wouldn't do it again. Terrible experience getting in the Bridgestone Arena to get seated. The ushers were very rude! It got started late and was very long, but all in all it was an experience to see an event taping. If you want to go to something like this just be prepared for a long night with lots of interruptions and re takes. It was nice to see how they do things and to also see the stars as their selves when mistakes where made and in between takes/re-takes. So for a one time experience I enjoyed it.
Was a great show but lasted way too long with long breaks. Most of the people were gone by the end.
Enjoyed watching the live taping and hearing the various stars sing!
IT WAS REALLY COOL TO BE THERE AND WATCH THE LIVE TAPING OF THE CHRISTMAS CONCERT. It shows our favorite artists true colors. They were so funny, and real people. Sometimes we forget that they are real people too with feelings. The music was great, the singers were awesome, and it was hilarious that Kellie Pickler made the naughty list :)
This was our first time going to the taping of the CMA Christmas show and it was a great experience. The only bad thing was the waiting to get in to our seats. Once the show started there was great interaction between the producers and the audience. We are planning to go again next year also.
