About

The CMA Awards is Country Music's Biggest Night™, hosted in the heart of Music City! The first "CMA Awards Banquet and Show" was held in 1967. The following year, the ceremony was broadcast for the first time - making it the longest running, annual music awards program on network television. The CMA Awards have aired on ABC since 2006.

Each year, The CMA Awards nominees and winners are determined by the industry professional members of the Country Music Association, which when established in 1958, became the first trade organization formed to promote an individual genre of music. All balloting is tabulated by the professional services organization, Deloitte.

    Horrible seats

by Jaybird on 11/12/23Bridgestone Arena - Nashville

The seating at Bridgestone was made for very small people or children. Acoustics made it difficult to understand what the presenters and performers were saying/singing. Monitors were blocked and small making it impossible to see what was going on. Will watch this on tv next time with a PVR from a comfortable location. Sorry, but you asked.

Hard to see but great to listen to!

by Country Fan Dave on 11/12/23Bridgestone Arena - Nashville

The CMA Awards were a great experience that would have been a wonderful experience if the venue at Bridgestone Stadium had larger video boards and more of them. We sat in the 300 section and it was difficult to see the presenters, winners and performers because we were so high up. We still really enjoyed it because of all of the great country music, but it would have been great to be able to really see everyone on stage. We probably would not go again because of those issues, but we're so glad we went this one time.

    Great Night in Nashville

by Talon on 11/12/23Bridgestone Arena - Nashville

Wife and I were had great seats. Did to bring a live event, it started on time. Be aware, the only time you can get back to your seat is during the commercial break.

Bad lighting in the arena , unable to see the artist

by EV on 11/11/23Bridgestone Arena - Nashville

The flashing lights when the artist are performing are very blinding for us , you can’t see the artist at all . The lights by the stairs are so blinding I almost fell down because it blinded me , horrible experience

Sound System was off and screens too small.

    by Joanie80016 on 11/11/23Bridgestone Arena - Nashville

I had wanted to go to the CMAs for a very long time. I was in section 301 so pretty far up there. I had a very hard time hearing up there and the sound was muffled. Also WOW this arena has the smallest TV screens I’ve ever seen. So I would have seen a lot more at home on my TV but it was a cool experience.

    Gotta go lower bowl

by Braden slc on 11/11/23Bridgestone Arena - Nashville

Firstly, the CMAs were electric. So fun. The music, pace, lineup was amazing. The show was probably cool, but we couldn’t really see it. My advice: splurge and go lower bowl. Upper bowl cons: can’t see the stage (unless you’re center upper bowl. No Jumbotron. Weird spot lights shining on us the whole night It feels like an event built for a smaller crowd/arena. We would never go again upper bowl. We would go in a heartbeat if it were lower bowl.

    Great performances-other areas needed improvement

by DebC on 11/11/23Bridgestone Arena - Nashville

The performances were great, but it was hard to hear the award presentations. Also, I preferred the stage configuration from the last 2 years better. The way the bright lights were on the sides of the sets at times you could not see the performers without looking at the TV screens on the side of the stage. We were there for the performances and they were fantastic, but didn’t appreciate the bright lights at times in my face

    Awesome Experience!

by Wendy K on 11/11/23Bridgestone Arena - Nashville

I read many reviews on here that had me questioning if I should spend the $300 per ticket to sit in the 3rd level of the Bridgestone arena. I’m so happy that I decided to take the plunge and by two tickets for myself and my husband. In the reviews that I read, it was mentioned that it would be freezing in there. It was cool so I made sure to bring a shall and I also made sure my dress had long sleeves. When we first got into the arena, I was comfortable but was husband was cold and he was in a long sleeve button down with a suite coat. Once the arena started filling in, he was comfortable. I was also warned about the small screen TV’s and shining lights. I’m happy to report that we were not bothered by either. We were in section 302 which is center stage. The show started on time, had great performances and we now have started an annual tradition. It was easy to get into, easy access to food and restrooms and easy out. I had very high expectations as I go to a lot of concerts and only buy tickets on the main floor. I wasn’t willing to spend that kind of money on main floor tickets to this event when I really wasn’t sure what to expect. Next year we will buy better tickets but if you are thinking about doing it, do it! It was a night to remember!
