Maryland-bred rockers Clutch have been a hot ticket on the tour circuit and a mainstay on the rock radio airwaves for well over a decade. That streak continued in 2013 with the release of a well-received new album titled Earth Rocker, which topped Billboard's Top Hard Rock Albums chart, and plenty of concert dates, stopping at the likes of The Depot (Salt Lake City) and other world-class venues. The group's consistency even extends to its lineup, which features three members -- Neil Fallon (vocals, keyboards), Tim Sult (lead guitar), Dan Maines (bass), and Jean-Paul Gaster (drums) -- who have been in the group since it formed in 1991.
Clutch released their debut album, 1993's Transnation Speedway League, after landing a deal with EastWest Records, largely thanks to their reputation as a strong concert act. The band's growing fan base and the success of their self-titled 1995 sophomore release lead to a short-lived major-label deal with Columbia. Clutch's 2009 and 2013 albums, their ninth and 10th, were released on the group's own Weathermaker label.

Let me tell you, every time I see this band, they bring their A game. The fellas have been rocking out for over 30 years. This past concert was no different. It was the end of their current tour and they played a solid set. They got in some groovy jams in between certain songs, but they played some of our favorites, including my son's favorite, Firebirds. The venue was pretty stark: All standing, with a lowered area to stand in front of the stage. No monitors or anything to see the band if you were way in the back, but the sound was good. The facility was well run. Clutch is fantastic. Highly recommend
Everything was top notch at this show. The veggie was great. I love seeing shows here. The openers actually surprised me. I liked them both, but the main course was Clutch! Perfect set, excellent performance. I have been seeing them for 30 years and they have only gotten better. I don't know what else to say. 10/10 Highly Recommend
Other than starting late, this show was just about perfect. The venue was great! The Premier Lounge seating was fantastic! The sound was spot-on! Both openers were way better than we thought they'd be. Clutch...was as good as I've ever heard them.
Best band in the land. Nobody rocks better than Clutch and their live shows always go above and beyond. I would take their live show over anybody else.
Venue is good. Nice and cool inside. Bathrooms in good spots. Never waited once. As usual, Clutch rocked the house.
This is like my 7th time seeing Clutch. The band was on point!!
Caesars needs more big names! The intimate venue made for a personal and soul zapping experience! The night was CLUTCH. That's all that needs said
First of all, the House of Blues is the absolute best in class of places to see a show. Bigger than a club, but smaller than an arena. The staff has concerts down to a science. A few thousand people in quickly, multiple bars on each level, servers attending seated patrons, and orderly exiting at the end of the night. Incredibly long merch line, but that's because it was Clutch. Since the early 90's Clutch has been delivering Pure Rock Fury in the form of intellectual hard rock, blues, and aggressive heavy groove based music. They never play the same set twice.
It's always a AMAZING show! Highly recommend seeing them live!! I will definitely go again if they come back
I have seen Clutch several times, as they are my favorite band, and this show did not disappoint. I even enjoyed the headliners. House of Blues in Orlando might be the best venue for live music ever. The intimate space really makes you feel connected directly to the band and the music. Clutch rules!!!!
This was my first time seeing the band Clutch and it was an awesome show, my husband and I loved it. I do wish that one of the opening bands, Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown would’ve had a longer set.
Great venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Booked a vip box seat and worth every penny!
That Clutch sound, Nate's soul, garage rockin excellent
The view from our balcony seats was excellent. It was nice that they had a little bar there. The only negative was that Ticketmaster sold me seats in Row F but there WASN'T a Row F, it only went to E. The venue did make it right and put us in unsold seats in Row A so that we actually had slightly better seats than what I had purchased. As I said above, the band was great, Clutch are veteran pros and know how to put on a show that appeals to their fans.
Absolutely Amazing these guys just blew the doors off the place
It was an incredible evening with a deep cut set list! Great sound, great vibe, and I think the band was blown away by the crowd’s response. A good time was had by all….
Clutch is obviously amazing 100% of the time. Giving 4 stars bc of the venue (all seats, no pit, acoustics weren’t the best)
Clutch came to Ann Arbor and blew the crowd away. Had the whole theater singing along. Great show hope to see them come back and play Ann Arbor again.
Awesome concert in an amazing venue. Tim Sult gave my son his pick at the end of the show and made his day!
