    Experience one cannot pass on

    by Gbaby20 on 7/22/09Georgia Dome - Atlanta

Wow. This was a dream come true. Two elite international footballing sides in Atlanta. This event is similar to what you'd fine in Europe where the fans can witness practices and ask for autographs and essentially interact with the players. Although some of the security people enforced TOO much it was still an experience I'll never forget. Easily the best thing for me was taking the Italian I've learned in college and applying it by communicating with the players, albeit sparingly. It was also fun when some of the Brazilian fans were yelling trash talk about their club teams back home with Pato. Cheers!

    Practice session

I enjoyed the event overall. It would have been better if players had been more available for autographs. Also they should have had at least one ATM.

    US opens up to Soccer

by Soccerdad on 7/22/09Georgia Dome - Atlanta

What a display, worth ten times the cost to get in. The US is starting to see this game and understand it as well. We need many more events like this in more cities here.

Practice Session almost as good as the game

by JennyN on 7/22/09Georgia Dome - Atlanta

It was a lot of fun getting to see the players in a relaxed mode playing around with the ball. We got the see Armando Navarrete throwing and kicking a football (he's pretty good too!) and to see Gattuso juggling a soccer ball in between his drills. Ronaldinho even punted the soccer ball from the 50 yard line into the goal which was really cool. The CA players were really friendly and willing to sign autographs and take photos- AC not so much- but maybe it was because the fans started going a bit nuts and popped open one of the gates causing security to usher the players off. Navarrete and Pardo were defiantly the most fan-friendly
