fantastic show, highly recommend to everyone, it is good for your SOUL!
Seeing Cloud Cult live is not just a concert; it's a spiritual experience. Their whole show included instrumental and lyrical art; visual art, including a light show and a cosmic background scene; ennthusiastic dancing from the band, and as always, fantastic vocals. Cloud Cult is never just a concert, but more of an all-encompassing art experience for the soul. From the drop of the first note in their acoustic set to the break inbetween sets, silent tears were continually streaming down my face. The experience was so beautiful, so real, so human - my heart needed this healing experience.
I have seen Cloud Cult many times, and again they continue to amaze! Two Full Sets. Day: a beautiful acoustic set. Night: a rip roaring electric set. Thank you Cloud Cult and audience for a concert never to be forgotten!!!
I've been to many Cloud Cult shows and will keep going because each show is unique and brilliantly executed. I loved that they had two separate sets: one acoustic and one electric. The acoustic arrangements were absolutely beautiful, especially "The Ghost Inside Our House." I brought my parents to this show. They hadn't heard Cloud Cult before and still loved the show. I definitely recommend it for any age or genre preference.
I have seen Cloud Cult many times. For years, I had hoped they put together an "acoustic" experience, since their talents and musicianship would meld so well with Craigs songwriting and create a whole new "sound". I was amazed when they did put together the acoustic tour and EXCITED when they recorded the mpls shows for an album! It is everything I imagined it could be. I was lucky enough to see a small intimate show in Rochester, MN ....and immediately wanted more. I vowed to get to their ST Paul shows at the Fitzgerald, since i knew it was a fantastic venue! I was lucky enough to get tix to the sunday show. I paused briefly on purchasing saturday show to find out how many tickets and if friends wanted to go.....waiting on reply, the show sold out, in minutes. Sunday it was! I decided to just get my tix and let others worry about their own. I decided to bring my 18 yr old to her first CC experience. She loved it, we got close seats and were in the front row for the "electric" 2nd set. Absolutely amazing...and i know she will be talking about it for a long time! As i told her....I could watch that show EVERY DAY! Absolutely amazing show!
The first set was all accoustic and it blew my mind. I breathed in the music and felt every note played inside my body. The second set was electric and pumped me up but lacked a certain level of emotion that the accoustic set nailed. I would give this show a 5 out of 5 stars if it was just the accoustic set, but even though the electric set was good, it was not good enough to be a 5 start set. This is why I gave this event 4 out of 5 stars.
Awesome as usual!! The music was crisp and clear. We loved it all.
I have seen Cloud Cult once a year for the past 6 years, and this show is by far the best. The acoustic set was so moving; fresh takes on some of their classics. They had the amazing ability to make the audience pay close attention to the small sounds, and then blow the place up with the loud ones. I cried 4 times, no shame. The electric set was a bit more "jammy" then I have come to expect from them, and just knocked everyone on their ass. I cannot recommend this band enough. As close to a religious experience as I ever expect to experience.
Great show, nice crowd, good venue. First set was acoustic, beautiful, then the second set was electric and they rocked the house. This band is the greatest, they have painters on each side of the stage, doing live art during the show, they come forward and sign in a couple of the songs, really a warm, friendly band. I will go see them again, and of course I love, love, love the Fitzgerald Theatre. We had general admission tickets, and we did not get there early so we were in the 2nd balcony, but still good seats.
Cloud cult never disappoints. I only wish I could go to "church" with them more often.
There are not enough stars to rate this concert! Phenomenal, plain and simple.
Amazing show, it was one of the best that I have been to.
Cloud Cult is the best live performing bands I've ever seen. This was my seventh time seeing them. My only complaint is that the Fitz, or maybe their sound guy, made the bass entirely too loud. We were sitting far from being in front of the bass amp and it was a little bit ridiculous. For me it was a little hard to enjoy the second half electric, which is usually my favorite part.
Sold out concert in New York at the Bowrey Ballroom in New York City. Amazing show...engaging every sense. Cosmic and earthly at the same time
Cloud Cult was absolutely incredible. The venue itself was ok (good luck finding parking) but the performance was unlike anything. I'm a long time CC fan and this was my second time seeing them. The first was jaw dropping but I expected the awe to wear off for the second round. They are almost overwhelming in the intimacy, the emotion....it's like they're singing to YOU. At least I felt that way, and it sounded like everyone else in the audience felt the same. Do a favor for your psyche and soul: see this band!
Astounding and Incredible. They were emotionally moving and put on an extraordinarily passionate performance. A must see for sure!
The band is amazing. Great blend of instrumentation. The passion and feeling is oozing out of this band. They fit my ear perfectly.
Amazing but super amazing and stuff. My text is too short but it was super cool and amazing.
This band keeps improving. This is sixth time I've seen them and this topped all previous shows. During several songs I thought, "This would be perfect for a Grammy show performance." If Arcade Fire can take the Album of the Year award, then there is hope for Cloud Cult to break through to a wider audience. Comparable songwriting, playing, and stage energy. Some revved up fans boosted the energy level at this show.
