    Best Show Ever

by ElDannobanano on 9/20/10Wonder Ballroom - Portland

I can't think of another rock show I've been to that was this good. The venue was great - very intimate, we were able to be about ten feet from the stage without any pushing or shoving. The energy of the crowd was excellent - it's clear that anyone who goes to a Cloud Cult show goes because it's one of their favorite bands (and, of course, how could it not be?) My only disappointment was not bidding high enough on the paintings. I made the mistake of being an early bidder.

    Life Changing

by DeepSlow on 9/20/10Showbox at the Market - Seattle

I brought my whole family to this show. Everyone of us were blown away. Great music, high energy throughout. The visual aspect of the painters added another dimension to the whole thing. The bands message of the potential in all of us inspires me to my core. By far the best show I have ever seen.

Cloud Cult puts on a wonderful show

by dnamj on 9/20/10Showbox at the Market - Seattle

It's a large and multi-talented group, with unusual instrumentation (Bass played doubles as trombone, keyboard player also played french horn and trumpet and percussion, also great violin and cello players). They take all of this complicated sound and pull together something very exciting and cohesive, and are both fun and hyponotic at the same time. I highly recommend their new record "Light Chasers" although seeing the songs live did a lot to make me love listening to the record even more. Highly recommended!

Cloud Cult still an amazing live show!

by gratefulfred on 9/19/10Wonder Ballroom - Portland

For those who have not seen them before, you're in for a remarkable show. The music is outstanding -- a short list of the instruments include the standard bass/guitar/drums, but also includes a cellist, a violinist, keyboards, a trombone, french horn, trumpet... and two amazing mural artists on either side of the stage that create a painting during the show. It's very interesting to watch how the music and the crowd influences the painters, and the crossover of visual art with music is something you won't experience with any other band.

This show rocked my world! So much energy and stage presence. I've seen a lot of live music and this show was one of the best I've seen. Ever. I love their recorded stuff, and live I loved it even more. I could have watched them all night, I didn't want the show to stop. Amazing.

    Cloud Cult - Still buzzing

    by RoseG1 on 9/13/10Bluebird Theater - Denver

The Cloud Cult show in Denver blew my mind. The Bluebird is an intimate setting but it was packed. They played a few tunes from their new album, Light Chasers...totally amazing. The energy in the room was so incredible because the band puts everything they've got into their performance. The musicians are conservatory quality but they have this incredible creativity that marries many different styles. Also, they are tapping into some deep stuff with their lyrics and it all comes together for one of the best live performances I've been to in years. Get the new album and go see this show. I flew from Memphis to Denver to see it and it was sooooooooooooooooo worth it!!!

    Cloud Cult = Wonderful

by Elmokazoo on 9/13/10Bluebird Theater - Denver

I'll admit that I was a little worried that Cloud Cult might be one of those bands whose albums are fun to listen to, but sucked live. I couldn't be more wrong! They are talented as well as theatrical. The paintings happening during the show were awesome.
