CLINT BLACK IN CONCERT:
Country superstar Clint Black knows a thing or two about penning a catchy tune – he's got more than 20 No. 1 singles under his belt, and his hit-filled live shows have the feel of a greatest hits tour. It makes him something of a maverick in a genre where many artists record music written by other songwriters. Black has spent the bulk of his career singing his own songs, and it's served him well. His penchant for witty puns and clever turns of phrase is on full display in concert – both in the lyrics of favorites like "A Better Man" and during his amusing between-song banter. With his warm baritone voice, killer harmonica playing, and catalog of clever-mouthed hits, Clint Black is a must-see for ticket buyers who like their classic country served straight-up.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Clint Patrick Black was born in New Jersey but raised in the Houston suburb of Katy, TX. He grew up playing music with his family, and by his teens he had serious chops on both the guitar and the harmonica. Black cut his teeth as a singer performing with his brothers in a family band, and he eventually dropped out of high school to play music full-time. He spent the bulk of the '80s working odd jobs while moonlighting as a country performer, and in 1989 he got his big break when RCA signed him and released his debut album Killin' Time. The record spawned five consecutive country No. 1s, making him a star overnight and earning him several Academy of Country Music Awards including Album of the Year and Top Male Vocalist. His chart run continued in the '90s with a string of Top 10 albums and chart-topping hits like "A Good Run of Bad Luck" and "Nothin' But the Taillights." Black parted ways with RCA in the early '00s and took a few years off to start a family, and in 2004 he returned with his eighth album Spend My Time, which he released on his own label Equity Music Group. Critics hailed the album as his most adventurous outing to-date, and Black has remained prolific ever since, consistently delivering both in the studio and on tour.

Awesome show. Awesome venue. Easy in and easy out. Clint sounded the same as I remember and hope to be able to see him again.
WOW!! What a great concert he put on!! He played ALL the songs and had the crowd singing along. We really enjoyed him and his band was amazing as well!
Clint and his band of musicians are so talented. Awesome concert. Great time.
Clint Black was one of my favorite country guys during the 90’s. I have 4 of his cassettes with all my old favorites. I was fortunate to catch one of his recent concerts in South Lake Tahoe. I wasn’t disappointed. He’s a great showman, songwriter, and speaks from the heart. My kind of person. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed his performance. I pulled out my old cassettes and have a young fellow that will transfer the music to thumb drives. I plan to load some of favorites on my iPhone so I can listen to oldies while driving back and forth to the mountains. Thanks Clint Black!
Great crowd good music lot of old favorites wonderful venue very intimate Clint has a great personality and sense of humor
Clint Black was so fun to see. He was funny and very entertaining! Love his music! The seating was great at Valley’s.
The show was very good. The one problem we had, in regards to how the band was positioned on the stage, was that we could not see all of the musicians. What they could have done was to positioned the band closer to the front, since the people seated on the far right side could not see the keyboard player all and the fiddle player disappeared at times.
We had a front row table for the concert and it was amazing! The venue was great! Clint Black is an amazing artist and really put on a show!
The Seating at Graceland Was Tuff on these old Bodies of Ours!!! Seriously needs Upgrade Improvement!!! Clint Black and His Fiddle player and Everyone else Were Amazing!!! We Pay Premium Price When All you have are the Stadium Seats?? Please Try too Do something Too Accommodate Everyone!!!
Excellent concert. Great performer. The venue (Hard Rock Biloxi) could have been better. The seats on the floor are not on an incline. It was not easy to see with all the people sitting in front of our row. The venue would be nicer if the orchestra seats were on an incline.
First time to Clint. Best seats for the concerts..
Great concert great venue great night All the Clint black songs he played
We’ve seen Clint Black many times over the years and enjoyed this show as much as any! The giant video screens provide some nostalgia and the musicians are just amazing! Just wish we could see them in a dance hall!
Clint Black was awesome. The seats were terrible. Balcony has graduated levels of seats, but they aren’t done well. We were on the fourth row and couldn’t see anything except occasional glimpses of his head. Terrible venue.
The man put on a show worthy of his caliber. He is definitely a legend in his own time
Great show, the second I have attendees. I plan on attending the next show when Clint Black is in the area.
He never disappoints!! Such a great performance. He’s so down to earth. Jams at the end of his concert are fantastic.
Clint black is a must see, very good. I will see him again
The concert was awesome! His antics were hilarious! So glad I got to see him....his lyrics hit home back in the day!!
I had a great night at the Township Auditorium! The opening band, Preston Duffee, did not disappoint. I'd not heard them before and I wouldn't mind hearing them again! Clint Black and his band seem to be back in the swing of things and enjoyed entertaining the Columbia, SC crowd who had a great party that night! I really enjoy the more intimate, smaller venues.
