Eagles and Doobie Brothers sounded GREAT

    by class74 on 10/4/17Safeco Field - Seattle

The Doobie Brothers was so much fun to watch and listen to. With the passing of Glen Fry of the Eagles it was so emotional to have his son sing a few songs, which he did great and at times you could hear some of his fathers voice. The Eagles band was spot on with everything, "Singing, Playing, Horn and String sections". Our 17yr old brought a friend and it was so neat for them to see and the different instruments and style of songs (Ballards, Hard Rock, Soft Rock, etc). The only issue I have is we wished that they would have displayed the Eagles band playing on the Big Screens more, instead of misc. pictures/videos. When your in a large stadium it allows everyone to view the band, because at one time when they showed the band on the big screen playing again the crowd cheered, but unfortunately the person(s) in charge didn't recognize the reaction. Should have done what Tom Petty and the Doobie Brothers did.

    Eagles were AMAZINGLY AWESOME!!!

    by mbt11 on 10/4/17Safeco Field - Seattle

One of the best concerts I have ever been to! Vince Gill and Deacon Frey were a perfect fit with the rest of the band. It was a beautiful experience!

    Fabulous

    by Willow0317 on 10/4/17Safeco Field - Seattle

Amazing concert. Doobie Brothers sound quality seemed distorted but they were full of energy. The Eagles exceeded our expectations! Deacon Frey was phenomenal & filled his father's shoes perfectly but with his own flare. We were pleasantly surprised to see & hear the smooth voice of Vince Gill - what an amazing addition! The concert did not disappoint.

The Eagles are Fantastic, Highly Recommend

by Trailergrl on 10/4/17Safeco Field - Seattle

The Eagles concert exceeded our highest expectations! Fantastic! They did not disappoint! Initially, we were a little apprehensive but it was amazing. Vince Gill and Deacon Frey did a superb job and The Eagles sounded as good or better than before. Look forward to more concerts! The treat for me was Joe Walsh performing a few of his songs. Loved it, love Joe Walsh, thank you. Can't say enough good things about the show. It was amazing and we enjoyed it immensely.

    Awesome concert

by Bubbabiff on 10/4/17Safeco Field - Seattle

At one point Vince Gill turns to Joe Walsh and mouths.... I can’t freaking believe this and shaking his head. He was talking about how on every single song the crowd was singing along and or harmonizing along with the band. The entire evening was electric. Best concert in years.

Needed More Bang For The Money

    by Patty6o on 10/4/17Safeco Field - Seattle

I was really disappointed with the concert at Saefco verses the Tacoma Dome,The sound was not there. The concert in 2014 was an A plus with the sound.I didn't pay almost 500.00 to see Vince Gill sing. The Doobie Brothers really stepped upped to the plate.

    Complete satisfaction

by Skiffingal on 10/4/17Safeco Field - Seattle

The Eagles could not have had a better opening band than the Doobie Brothers!!! The only way it could have been better is if they had played another hour

Eagles & Doobie Brothers Rock the Northwest

by Karenbird on 10/4/17Safeco Field - Seattle

This concert was well worth the trip to Seattle from TX. The Doobies rocked all their hits and sounded great. The Eagles showed why they're the best American band ever, with music and vocals so perfect you'd swear you were listening to the studio versions. They always deliver a little something extra in the live shows and leave you wanting more. Truly amazing!

    Great Concert But Gabby Neighbors!

    by lim65 on 10/3/17Safeco Field - Seattle

I was shocked that the concert actually started on time. Kudos to The Doobie Brothers! Both they and The Eagles put on a fantastic show, playing most of the tunes that we wanted to hear. The effects, laser lights and video for the Eagles were excellent; though the sound was marginal...very muddy lows, so band member's dialog and spoken words were nearly impossible to understand. The sound for the Paul McCartney show a few years ago was far better. Our seats were great...even up in the third deck. We'll likely return for another concert, but the sound really needs to improve. And finally...don't you come to a concert to hear the band or bands? Yes? Then SHUT UP and (as the Doobie Brothers said) "Listen To The Music". "The Music Is The Doctor". The folks behind us talked their way through half the show! Singing along is fine; talking is not!

    Eagles/Doobie Brothers

by Nicessss on 10/3/17Safeco Field - Seattle

This concert was awesome!! The Doobie Brothers far exceeded my expectations, and the Eagles were absolutely the best! It was very touching to see Glen Frey's son at the concert. He looks just like his father and has a wonderful voice. This concert was worth every penny.

    Absolutely Amazing

by MaJoMa on 10/3/17Safeco Field - Seattle

The Doobie Brothers were amazing, we used to listen to them when we went cruising. I thought it was a little bit slow in the beginning but, man, they rocked. The Eagles are my all time favourite. This was #5, but who would have thought Vince Gill? He was fantastic and totally fit right in, and Deacon, was every bit his father's son. His Daddy would have been so proud. I just wanted to give him a hug. Don Henley, Timothy B., and Joe Walsh are just so totally amazing. We came from New Mexico and would go further to see them. There's no words to describe how great they are.

    Eagles and Doobies

by Shakerman on 10/3/17Safeco Field - Seattle

Good Concert. I would have like to hear the Doobie Brothers play South City Midnight Lady, but otherwise all good. Eagles were well blended, and all the usual hits but very well done Vince Gill was a great addition along with Deacon. Overall, the singing was on key, and the instruments were on time (musician myself) and I very much enjoyed the show. I liked "taking it to the streets" as it applies today as it did years ago. A little rough on the sax timing for coming in, but when it was the sax's time. All are in good shape for being just a few years older than me and for doing what they did for the entire concert - well done! Would I see the show again, yes. Part for the music, part for it was just very well played.

    The Eagles are Still Soaring

by JTEK on 10/3/17Safeco Field - Seattle

Although we thought we had really great seats we were a bit dismayed how far back we were from the stage. However, the technical professionals did a great job in creating a fanatastic job in the video magnification and made one feel so much closer and therefore more into the performance. Although. Both groups i.e. Doobie Brothers and Eagles were really good, I believe the Eagles stole the show. Deacon Frey did and amazing job and I think his Daady would be proud. Vince Gill is always amazing and I think he melded well and brought a slightly different melodic contribution to the group. Rock on Eagles!!! JTK

Doobies are a great (underrated) Band. Eagles Rock

    by az17 on 10/3/17Safeco Field - Seattle

Great show by both Bands - Doobies had an excellent song selection & all three of the mainstays can play guitar. Deacon Frey & Vince Gill were an outstanding blend into America's most formidable Band. Don't miss this show if it comes your way...
