    Great show

by Ninap on 10/9/23Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

Last time I saw the band was in NY, 30+years and was so excited to see them in LA on their final tour. The concert exceeded my expectations, in every way. I hope they have loved the tour as much as we have..

    An Irish Evening

by Dudy on 10/9/23Palace of Fine Arts - San Francisco

Clannad's concert was an enchanting Irish music experience lasting two captivating hours. Despite the absence of extravagant lighting or visuals, the six members on stage transported us to a magical world with their harmonious melodies and hauntingly beautiful harp tunes. Moira Brennan's voice remained as clear as ever, and their exceptional connection with the audience added an extra layer of magic to the night. A mesmerizing performance that left us spellbound.

    Clannad "In A Lifetime"Farewell Tour - Magical!

by Paul MBCA on 10/8/23Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

Clannad performed a retrospective of their music from the mid 1970's to the present at their shown in Los Angeles at the beautiful Orpheum Theater, which included many traditional Irish tunes sung in Gaelic. Magical. I was impressed by the depth of their musical catalog, musicianship, and stories of the origins of the tunes and how the band started off in Donegal, Ireland. Glad they stopped in LA as they are wrapping up the final legs of the farewell tour.

by Once “In A Lifetime” on 10/8/23Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

What a lovely experience! Art in music and transcending us with their arrangements. So polished and yet raw and heartfelt. The “Last of The Mohicans” soundtrack was by far my favorite!!

    53 years is lovely

by tc on 10/8/23Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

In 1970 Clannad has took the spirit of classic Irish folk music into a pleasant harmonious New Age Keeping with that tradition the band is now made up of and Enya's sister, two of her children, and two other original band members. A light, harmonious, pleasant sound striking a relief to the heavy cacophonous majority of new music today. A really pleasant evening of Gaelic and contemporary Irish folk/new age music Certainly not for most peoples taste today, but wildly pleasing to this audience As Clannad winds up 53 years of playing lovely music on their farewell tour.

    The Best!

by Mellan on 10/8/23Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

This was the most fun I’ve had at a concert. I felt like I was in a pub and Clannad stopped by and decided to put on a show. The cheering, clapping, laughter and camaraderie of the band and audience made it feel like every seat was a front row one. It was a true privilege to get to have this experience. I hope to remember it all my days.

    Excellent

by Shorty on 9/30/23The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Wonderful concert. Exactly what I had hoped for. Excellent music and vocals. They played so many instruments to bring out the sound needed for Irish Celtic and Irish folk songs. The 3 main members of the group shared stories and information about the music and their experiences.

    Brilliant!

by Cheryl on 9/28/23State Theatre - Portland

I have been a fan for a very long time, and when I stumbled on the ticket sale, I knew we had to go. I could write a long, detailed review, pointing out Maire Brennan's ethereal voice, the relaxed atmosphere of the presentation, or the excellent sound quality of the venue. But I believe I can sum up the evening in one word. The experience was.....magical.

Clannad's Celtic Symphony and Musical Goodbye

by PedroK on 9/26/23The Wilbur - Boston

Clannad's final goodbye gig at the Wilbur, Boston was a fitting tribute to a band I first heard in 1977. Back in '77 I was in college and attended a concert not expecting too much. During the concert however I was truly struck by the close family harmonies, original sound and individual musicianship of the five members. Between 1977 and 2023 I have attended Clannad concerts in number of countries and at different stages of their musical journey. I have always been entertained. Clannad (Gaelic for Family) are now essentially a threesome (with musical support from Moya Brennan's two children). Clannad provided a two hour magical recital and a musical journey of their entire catalogue. Moya Brennan's voice has slightly lost some clarity she once possessed and a little of the edge but her voice is still glorious and at 71 she pack a real punch. The original family group harmonies (provided by the three Brennans and their two uncles) are basically intact but are not as tight or as strong due to loss of two members. The attending audience were fully appreciative of the magical and uplifting celtic influenced musical show. They showed this with a thunderous loud standing and long cheering ovation requesting for more of the same before the group would close there family relationship with their B.oston music enthusiasts and supporters.
