Being closer to the age of a senior citizen I was not so keen on the idea of hip-hop in this show. What a pleasant surprise that it was just the right combination of Hip-Hop and usual type of music you hear at a Cirque show. The dancing and acrobats were stunning. Enjoyed every minute of this show.
This Cirque show was great. Took my husband for the first time. He wasn't really interested in going because he thought it was just dancing. He was wrong. He loved it. There is some much going on on stage. It's hard to just pick one performer to watch.The Cirque performers are amazing at what they do. Will definitely be going to another show!!!
My daughter and I have attended many Circus Soleil shows and I was expecting a lesser performance. Boy, was I mistaken. It was a great blend of dance, acrobatics, athleticism with a very creative set design.
My husband and I brought my brother and sister in law and they've never been and they were blown away!!! Show was very cool:)
It was not your typical cirque show, but we loved it. More like a cross with Americas Got Talent and so you Think you can Dance.
This was a new twist on a cirque show- with bikes, break-dancing and some other new tricks for those who have seen several cirque shows. This does not have the comic relief (good or bad) of the classic cirque du soleil clowns. The show went very fast, captivating and interesting to watch. However, this was the first cirque show I've attended (I've been to 4) where I have seen SEVERAL mistakes. There were issues with the jumproping and also the roller blades got stuck in the fabric as the acrobat was swinging- it was very awkward and uncomfortable to see so many mistakes, at least 5 in all. I would definitely recommend it though- great show!
My daughter and I went to see this show and were mesmerized. We really enjoyed it and the time flew by- they were unbelievable. Different than Cirque Solile- much more urban west side story feeling. We couldn't take eyes off the stage. Glad I took the orchestra seats even though they were in the way back so we could look up and be wowed rather than looking down at the action. Planning to take the whole family if they are ever around again.
Awesome show! Great mix of hip hop and acrobatics. I recommend it for anyone that likes both genera's.
Cirque Eloize's ID was a really fun show. I was skeptical that they may not impress since they weren't the real Cirque du Soliel, but they more than covered their base. The acrobatics were top notch, the dancing was fresh, humor was abundant, and there were even moments of mystic serenity. Check out this show if you're interested in a quality performance without the price tag attached to a Cirque du Soliel show.
The show was incredible. We really enjoyed it. The only complaint is the venue that hosted it. Very cramped space.
