Cirque du Soleil: Varekai Tickets

It was just ok. I did not enjoy the singing throughout the show but the acrobatic dance was good.

This is my 7th Cirque du Soleil show. I have loved the previous ones a whole lot more than this one. Most of the first act was boring abstract people pretending to be animals that almost put me to sleep. Let's remember that people go to a circus because they want to see acrobats swing on the bars and swings, and bounce on the trampoline, as well as laugh at the stupidities of the clowns. In the old days, there was a 3rd component of the circus, namely the animals. However, the king of circus, Ringling Bros went out of business recently because people don't care about the animal show section of the circus any more. If people don't want to watch real animals in a circus, they sure don't want to watch the fake ones, i.e. the people at the cirque du soleil pretending to be ants, and lizards and all sorts of animals. If you want me to go back, i would want to see more acrobats jumping and less of this non-sense people/animal junk.

Funny, entertaining and spectacular choreography! The characters were very talented and costumes were beautiful. Finale was the best!

While promoted for children, some of the content from the "usher" actors was questionable and definitely adult in nature. I have seen Kai in Vegas and it was a totally overwhelming production; I realize that it was a stationary show and effects could be done that simply cannot be done with a traveling show. The story, if there truly is one, is unrecognizable and perhaps if they gave you a playbill at the door it would help. None of this takes away from the visuals and acrobatics that were performed flawlessly on stage. Actors appearing and disappearing unexpectedly was entertaining and kept your attention. The band was excellent, and while the singers were probably very good also, they seemed to detract from the overall scene. Would I go see Varekai again? My wife and I enjoyed it, but probably not; however I will go see Cirque du Soleil again in Vegas given the chance.

The venue had its doors locked until 25 minutes before the event. We were waiting outside in 40 degree weather. The line to get in the door was unorganized and long then there wasn’t much time to find our seats. The staff working the doors were in a bad mood. The seats were very close together with not much leg room. I love Cirque Du Soleil but this one wasn’t as good as years past. There wasn’t a clear storyline and there was too much comedic relief from the man and woman. After a while, they weren’t funny.

Our entire family loved it! Grateful we got to enjoy this show before it ends.

The show was spectacular. Awesome performance and costumes. Recommend this show for young and old.

The performance that we (me, my wife, daughter, granddaughter and niece) saw of this show on Saturday, 12/16, in Fort Worth was disappointing. We did not know exactly what to expect, but with a show that bore the name of Cirque du Soleil, along with the almost $100 per ticket pricetag, I expected a lot more than we got. I (and the other adults in my party) were expecting more of a WOW factor and some pizzazz right off the bat, and although there were some nice tumbling and baton-twirling performances in the 1st half, for the most part it was not memorable. Things got better after the intermission, and there were some Wow factor moments, especially the guys on the Russian Swings, with their vaulting Way up in the air and such. But overall if I had to rate this show on a scale of 1 to 100, I would give it about a 70.

I was so excited to go see Varekai as we had just seen Crystal in October. Crystal was exceptional but this one was not. This is my LEAST favorite Cirque of ALL TIME!!!, and we have seen many. I wouldn't even recommend it.

Pros: Excellent show, super venue, tickets are nominal, a must see for the family Cons: Parking ticket rate is too high, Rates at the stall are exorbitant.

As usual, Cirque Du Soleil provided a great show. However, there were few areas where it could have been better. The jokes of the clowns were a little inappropriate for children. The music was a little loud. Thre were more fillers than usual. It was difficult to keep up with the theme.

Started off slow but glad we stayed after intermission because second half was fabulous

The venue was perfect. Lots of parking and a short walk to the event. There were several restrooms so there wasn’t a wait if you walked around the coliseum. The show itself was spectacular! My 6 year old son loved it too!!!!

One of my friends and I saw Verakai at the Ft. Worth Convention Center Arena on 14 Dec.. As usual this Cirque du Soliel show was outsranding. The lights, music and performers were very much. OMG !! throughout the entire show. I’ve seen 8 or 9 shows and have never been disappointed . Thank You for awonderful holiday memory.

I have seen 20 Cirque shows. Love them. This is not one of their better shows.

Outstanding performance! Wish for more performances in the future.
