The soundtrack to The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil won two Grammy Awards in the categories of Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for Motion Picture, Television or other Visual Medium and Best Surround Sound Album at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards. Ringo Starr, Sir George Martin, The Beatles legendary producer, and his son, Music Producer Giles Martin, accepted the award for Best Compilation Soundtrack.

by Chenca on 1/16/10LOVE THEATRE AT THE MIRAGE HOTEL AND CASINO - LAS VEGASFirst of all, LOVE, like others Cirque du Soleil shows, is perfect, beautiful and pleasant, but some aspects makes LOVE unique even if you aren't a Beatles fan. The seats in the LOVE Theater at Mirage are positioned in circle very close to the stage in the center. This setup allows you, from any seat, to see and check every costume/makeup details and how meticulous and perfectionists Cirque du Soleil guys are. Sometimes you will note dialogs between characters during the show. From the technical point of view LOVE is much more focused on the dramatization of Beatles songs than acrobatics movements. You will see very nice jumps, flips etc... but the beauty of the show comes from light and sound effects. Now, if you are a Beatles fan beware, LOVE can make you sing, dance, move your feet and shake your head since the beginning of the first song annoying someone seated near to you. The song list is amazing. Resuming, if you are not a Beatles fan and you are in Vegas than LOVE is a "must see" show. If you are a Beatles fan you must find a way to go to Vegas and watch LOVE. The only CONS is: if you are not a Mirage guest you need to waste 30min in the line to get your tickets
