    Saltimbanco was great!

by FtMyersCirque on 7/9/09Germain Arena - Estero

I've been wanting to go to a Cirque de Soleil show for years, and last night I finally got my wish. The show was absolutely amazing from start the clowns at the beginning to the acrobatic flyers at the finale. I'd gotten floorside 2nd row seats and been warned by various peope who'd gone to see Cirque that these seats would not be good. They were all entirely *wrong*. What you get floorside is priceless-- interaction with the players and a view of the concentration and work it takes to make it all seem so effortless. Seriously, the clowns and players were messing with those of us in my particular section all night, and it was great!! They were demanding that we be attentive and give them energy, and they gave it right back to us.

    Amazing

by chef on 7/9/09Germain Arena - Estero

it had us laughing and at the same time on the edge of our seats. It was never boring and held our attention the whole evening. We particularly liked the music and the audience particaption was great.

Saltimbanco is the 4th Cirque I've seen in person!

by Trudy on 7/9/09Germain Arena - Estero

If you are thinking about going -GO! This show is one of their originals that has remained fresh for years. I've seen it on TV many times but nothing like real life. Germain Arena is a good venue for this as they have made the theater a little less than half of the whole arena. There are no bad seats just get as close as you can afford to see more of the incredible details and costuming. Get there early, at least half an hour, to avoid parking problems with folks who are not used to the normal event parking at the arena. The music and sound are excellent for the venue. The only problem was people arriving late to the show and people leaving as soon as the final applause starts. where do these folks have to go that they can't express their appreciation to these incredible athletes? There is no fast way to drive out of the parking area quickly so enjoy the moment and just take your time in leaving.

    saltimbanco dissapointment

by marika on 7/9/09Germain Arena - Estero

after having seen some of the other Circque du Soleils shows this was truly a dissapointment. No rhyme or reason to the story..... music was a little too jazzy brought 2 children, ages 7 and 3 and it was just not ecxiting for them. the acts were good but the coustmes were a bit scary for the kids.

    saltimbanco-cirque du soleil

by littledutchess on 7/9/09Germain Arena - Estero

this show-reconfigured for an arena- was fantastic-more of a" mini" cirque du soleil-although it lasted more than 2 hours. Excellent seats; music phenomenal(the band was A+);the comedy was very funny and the main acts were outstanding as only cirque du soleil can do. Thoroughly enjoyed and I have seen them ALL--some even more than once.

    Saltimbanco was fantabulous!

by Mango on 7/9/09Germain Arena - Estero

From the very beginning it was riveting. The acts were mesmerizing and kept your attention all the time. The evening went all too quickly. This is my thrid Cirque and I can't wait to see more as each one is different.

    A must see for everyone!

    by mom2mm1 on 7/9/09Germain Arena - Estero

Saltimbanco was nothing short of spectacular. There are so many unique aspects to Cirque performances that it is difficult to highlight just one act. Everything from the talented performers, to the whimsical props and costumes, to the engaging music make Saltimbanco an unforgettable experience. Cirque, yet again, offers a performance that can appeal to just about any audience.

cirque du solei - Amazing and Breathtaking!

by CDunn on 7/9/09Germain Arena - Estero

I'd never been to a show like this before and have already recommended to my friends that they go and go now! My group consisted of adults and children as young as 5 and there was entertainment for everyone - and giggle and ahhhhs galore!

    saltimbanco-horrrible seats

by NAPLES on 7/9/09Germain Arena - Estero

DO NOT GET SIDE FLOOR SEATS AT GERMAIN, THEY WERE HORRIBLE. COULD NOT SEE AND HARD TO FOLLOW ALL THE ACTION. FOR 2 SEATS AT ALMOST $100 EACH WE WERE THREE SETS FROM THE STAGE AND WERE BLOCKED BY OUR SEAT MATES IN FRONT OF US. SHOW WAS OKAY, PARTS WERE VERY LONG AND DRAWN OUT. THE ACROBATICS ARE MY FAVE AND THERE JUST WAS NOT ENOUGH. I HAVE SEEN THE CIRQUE DO BETTER SHOWS

    Great show

    by shopper1 on 7/9/09Germain Arena - Estero

I have seen other Cirque du Soliel shows in Las Vegas and was wondering how the shows would translate to the arena setting....it was wonderful. The show had a little bit of everything - humor, music, dance, acrobatics, and all of the wonderful unique performers. I was truely enjoyable. Would definately go again.

    Amazing Cirque Du Soleil

by pilothouse on 7/9/09Germain Arena - Estero

Saltimbanco is my second Cirque. Not as jaw-dropping as "O" in Las Vegas because I was now aware of what to expect, but just as entertaining and unbelievable. It's a visual masterpiece with color and costume and music and grace of movement , not to mention feats of strength and acrobatics that are hard to watch without shaking one's head in disbelief. It's precision personified. Only criticism is the abrupt ending to the first half when most of the audience didn't realize it was time for intermission.

we really enjoyed this show . it's hard to compare this to a vegas show as those theaters are set up for only these shows but for a traveling show this was great .
