Poor organization, the event was labeled to be open at 9, they put us at a different space, the actual event started until 11:30 pm
Great event with awesome music. Lots of lyrics were played, which we loved. Amazing light show and really fun venue.
far exceeded my expectations. the show was great. the people we’re nice.
Wow, what an incredible event and stage show, blew it out!
Overall this is a GREAT event and venue. However it had to be 1 million degrees inside. This venue needs more air conditioning. Other than the heat, great DJ's and production.
Firstly, I was very disappointed in this year’s Market Days events hosted by Circuit Mom/Circuit Som. Having attended zillions of CM’s events over the years, I was sad to see and hear, from both guests from out of town and friends living in Chicago, how disappointed they all were. Both nights at the Aragon Theater were miserably hot. Next year, I hope CM either finds a new venue or works more closely w the Aragon to resolve such issues to ensure everyone has a more comfortable, safe and pleasant time there. I, personally, was ready to leave the first night after being there only 2 hrs. Also, from a health and safety perspective, CM and the The Aragon Theater venue should be very concerned with attendees’ health issues such as the likelihood of heat stroke, and other health and safety related issues such as people falling on the floors due to them being so wet and slippery from trapped humidity which accumulated as puddles on the floor. Secondly, I was upset when friends of mine that had bought tickets well in advance of the event, but who had not saved their digital passes in their digital wallets, were refused admittance and had to stand in line for over an hour because the ticketing system had gone down. Even when they had shown receipts as proof of purchase, they were told that in order to enter they had to provide the bar codes of their tickets. Apparently, there we’re numerous people 15-20 in the same situation that had to stand in line with them. Knowing how much CM and such event organizers make from these events it’s sad to see them handle a situation like this in a manner that appears they’re more concerned with making sure every penny is accumulated rather than providing a good experience for new comers and loyal event participants. Staff needs to be trained how to better escalate such situations rather than putting the oneness on the customer. A number of those that were in this situation told me they would not return next year and would likely choose other event options for Market Days or future CM events rather than risk going through such hassles. This was really ridiculous. I read a response from CM/Circuit Son to these issues that a friend of mine sent to management and rather than accepting them as positive criticisms in which they could improve, he was very dismissive and deflected responsibility defending their mistakes and oversights, many of which I’m certain are against city codes and regulations which could’ve ended up in tragedy. Seems like a huge law suit just waiting to happen to me. So at the end of the day, the more people who hear about these situations, the more it will likely eventually end up hurting CM and like event organizers, if they don’t put the customer experience and safety before money.
This event used to be enjoyable, for the past 2 years, the party does not invest enough money for airconditioning, definitely not healthy.
Couldn’t really enjoy myself because the venue was unbearably hot. The interior is nice and the production was pretty good (although pales in comparison to Alegria which has much better costumes, dancing and props), but this was all ruined by how hot it was in the room. Everyone was sweating profusely and it was difficult to breathe. They really need to fix that. Until then, they should not use this place again for Market Days.
The venue is beautiful. The organizers issued an instagram post saying that they “installed extra air conditioning” - perhaps they didn’t think to turn it on. I’ve never been in a venue that got this uncomfortably hot. It was absolutely insane. Further, in an effort to prevent people from refilling their water bottles in the washroom, the venue served exorbitantly priced CANS of water. Who hits a dance floor with a can of water that gets warm instantly. Other than the dehydration caused by the extreme heat and exasperated by the inability to get water conducive to the event, the event was good.
Saturday Circuit Mom party was way too hot! It was the hottest party environment I’ve ever been to. Seems inappropriate that production has not issued an apology or even acknowledgment of this fact. This is not an appropriate venue for this party if temperatures can not be regulated to anything reasonable. Number of attendees should have been limited or needed to find a more appropriate venue. Demonstrates poor planning and poor publicity response to this major problem. Will not recommend or likely want to return…
I was excited to attend CircuitMOM for the second year given the great time I had last year. I was disappointed in Saturday night's party due to the overwhelming lack of A/C, the music quality was lacking, the visuals were not as robust as the prior year, nor were the dance performances. I opted not to attend the second night because of this.
Awesome music and layout of the event. Easy to navigate and know where things are. Excellent lighting. I wish something could have been done about the temperature in the venue, but considering everything going on, that’s a challenge.
Typical hot box full of sweaty half naked dudes bumping into you cuz they have no concept of other people because of the combination of them having a gorilla sized ego and being immersed in illegal substances.
Truly an epic night with great production value just breathtaking. Brought me joy the whole weekend.
For starters we all paid over $100 to get in, then they gouged us for drinks and water, it was 1000 degrees inside and the event was clearly over sold. Dancers were great, music was fine but could use some more nuance. Not sure I’d buy tickets for 2 nights next time.
I was literally dripping with sweat…… it felt like it was 120 degrees in there
This venue did nothing to prepare for the size of the crowd and the ensuing heat. Other events at similar venues that I’ve attended in the past have had enough portable air conditioners and large fans to handle create safe conditions for attendees. Whether due to lack of preparation, intentional cost cutting/maximizing profits, or ignorance of attendees’ health and safety, this event and venue was not up to standard. This was actually my third CircuitMom event at Aragon Ballroom and almost certainly my last.
The shows ("Joystick" and "DRAMA at the Rodeo") were stellar. The DJs, production values, light and sound top-shelf. The venue was intriguing but unfortunately suffered a severe deficiency in air-conditioning. By 4:00 AM it was raining condensation (i.e., sweat) from the ceiling. Also, the Ticketmaster app was not even functional on Sunday. Fortunately the box office very promptly helped us and we were able to enter the show
Fenomenal display of extravagant energies for all senses. The one party you will feel part of. Love it.
