The lighthearted ballet, starring prima ballerina Deise Mendonça as Cinderella, tells the triumphant story of a young girl who encounters a magical transformation with a little help from her Fairy Godmother. Dazzling ballroom scenes, riotous stepsisters and romance with a twist of humor, Erik Sanborn's choreography pairs delightfully with the intriguing original music of Sergei Prokofiev. by CH on 6/8/22Pantages Theatre - MinneapolisThe first Act was good. However, act 2 once the princes came out I really wanted to get up and leave. I may be shallow regarding this but I don’t feel a 60 year old should be Prince Charming. His “ballet” wasn’t good either. Loved the step sisters they definitely stole the show!

by Theatergeek on 6/7/22Pantages Theatre - MinneapolisThe dancing was nice, but the tech( lights and shifts) and recorded sound were really rough. They need to hire a professional stage manager, a light designer, a graphic designer etc. Having one person do it all is so ineffective and leads to lots of shoddy work. If they want to look like a professional company? They should hire professionals.
