Augusta West does it again, they keep the show on time and perfectly organized. Venue is first class with pristine facilities and no shortage of food and drinks. Pro tip: park in the garage, many attendees seem to miss that turn and it’s very close to the front door and sheltered from heat and rain. Also, Barbara (the emcee) should be nominated for performance of the year!
Dances were good. Redundancy seeing focus on same dancers each routines….can def tell who faves are😒 would of been nice to see more technique in competition routines and using more of the students in rotation but overall decent choreography and music.
The show was great! The dancers were fun to watch in all age groups. The venue, the Columbia County Performing Arts Center was very nice. Ms. Green, the MC, does a great job! She is very funny and entertaining. However, everyone in our group agreed that it was almost impossible to understand what she was saying due to the microphone and speakers used. The audio setup was fine for music but was terrible for speech. It would have added a lot if she was easier to understand. This was not her fault. It was just that the equipment she was using was not optimal for that job.
Too loud and too many routines ! Lightning was good and girls performed outstanding, but there were way too many routines. The mind can’t absorb what the butt can’t endure !
