    A new take on Cinderella

by Alwestport on 11/10/15Minetta Lane Theatre - New York

A thoroughly enjoyable, at times bawdy, take on the Cinderella story. The performers were gifted dancers and had great personalities to match. It was a continuous show (things happened during intermission). An intimate theatre, presented an intimate performance. Highly recommended.

    Strange

by Brian07663NJ on 11/4/15Minetta Lane Theatre - New York

By no means am I a prude. The more avant-garde the better if you ask me. This show fell in a weird spot for me as being too much for the older blue hair crowd but not enough for the younger audience members therefore it was reaching for something that it wasn't able to be. An easy correction to this would have been to just go full on and have the role of Cinderella played by a male. Although there were some extremely talented individual members of the cast those brief moments did not overshadow the dreary dull moments. I highly doubt I would return to see future shows by this theater company. Kudos for their effort but it was most likely the direction not the performers.

    Mesmerizing, acrobatic and sensual

by Umedsan on 11/2/15Minetta Lane Theatre - New York

The physicality of the dancers was astounding. Not to mention the impressive vocals of the sisters and the fairy godmother, who btw was gorgeous. Quite funny and very sexy. Even intermissions were full of surprises. The venue is set up for the show. Cannot think of a negative... Really. If you enjoy burlesque, you'll love Cinderella.

As a theater junkie, I see a wide variety of shows. After seeing Cinderella I was totally hooked. It is an amazing story with a ballet, opera, and burlesque twist. Company XIV's Cinderella is DOPE

by Sugartaint on 10/28/15Minetta Lane Theatre - New York

This show makes me feel the way I wish the regular ballet would make me feel. It's edgy, dark, funny, and gorgeous. I've seen it twice and plan to go again, it's so good.

    Cinderella reinterpreted

by Sommertimes on 10/27/15Minetta Lane Theatre - New York

Company XIV has done it again. Last year we saw Nutcraker Rouge, and were delighted. Their erotic interpretation of Cinderella is largely true to the children's story, but this production is certainly not for children. The costumes are superb, and the talent displayed by the actors is absolutely marvelous. We expected great choreograpy, and were not disappointed. But the vocals were worthy of any of the finest opera venues. These are extremely disciplined actors and actresses, and well deserved the standing ovations.

    Cinderella was meh!

by bonznyc on 10/27/15Minetta Lane Theatre - New York

Many beautiful bodies all with negligible body fat. They all danced beautifully. But the production itself lacked. It was just boring. Plus all that smoke made me want to choke. The production started late, the first intermission was way too long, when the second intermission began, my friend and i looked at each other and high tailed it to the exit.

    Eye candy

by Shtu on 10/26/15Minetta Lane Theatre - New York

The cast is just amazing and everything is so nicely crafted, the corsets and all the shoes. It's defiantly worth a watch. *The singer has a beautiful voice, she should just be more of herself and less Lana del ray(?) * The prince's fake tattoo sleeves are not cute, he is super cute though.

Cinderella - a baroque burlesque ballet. Wow!

by CGOR54 on 10/24/15Minetta Lane Theatre - New York

This show is a performance experience -- a fusion of dance, circus, burlesque, baroque sensibilities, and post-modern camp you don't want to miss (assuming you're over 21). Where else can you find ‪#‎poledanceopera‬ and ‪#‎codpiecetapdance‬ and ‪#‎gstringaerial‬ and ‪#‎toeshoeleatherhorsekink‬ all in one place? With balloons?

    Fabulous Fun

by jsk810 on 10/24/15Minetta Lane Theatre - New York

This is without a doubt, the most fun, surprising, enjoyable, ribald, and (actually), thoughtful version of the Cinderella tale that I've ever seen. Forget about the soppy musical versions that have bedeviled popular culture for the last century or so. This version is painted with bold brush strokes and striking characterizations and it's not afraid to have lots of adult fun along the way. As with most Company XIV productions, you step into an alternate world as soon as you enter the theatre - a world where emotions and instincts are worn on the outside instead of hidden on the inside.

    a must see!!

by Anonymous on 10/13/15minetta lane theater - new york

Austin Mccormick and the tantalizing cast of Company XIV have excited my desires once again. Cinderella features an extraordinary cast of dancers, singers, and acrobats as well as an imaginative set design and beautifully detailed costumes. This show is tastefully seductive, but above all else, it is an artistic feat. Cinderella has something for everyone, everyone except children of course. A must see this fall! Go! Go! Go!

    Must See

by Anonymous on 10/8/15Minetta Lane Theater - New York

I cannot recommend this show highly enough. It is a fizzy delight with an impish spirit. The visuals, dance and acrobatics literally had my jaw agape for most of the show. This is a spectacularly talented cast who will dazzle you with unabashedly fun and unforgettable performance. Not to be missed!

What a lovely show! A mix of dance, aerial, opera all ostentatiously presented. The visuals are breathtaking and the aural mixtures are equally powerful. The performers are immensely talented and each given moments to shine. Austin McCormick excels at sensuous and powerful movement that truly captures moments and emotions in time. I highly recommend this show!

The most unique artistic experience in the city!

by XDyl on 10/8/15Minetta Lane Theater - New York

This show is mouth watering and jaw dropping! It's elegant and sexy attention to the intricate details of every design element and storytelling draw you into this beautiful world. The two leads are mystical and the pole dancing opera singer (yes!) is out of this world! Unlike anything else you'll see in the world. Grab a class of champagne, put on something sexy and let the show wash over you. Worth every penny!
