During live race dates, box office is open 60 minutes prior to gates and will close approximately 75 minutes prior to the last race. To purchase tickets on a non-race/simulcast date, visit the simulcast ticket purchase gate location.

Will Call is located at the box office. Please note, there is NO WILL CALL on Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby days. Will Call will be available on the day of the event starting when gates open. CUSTOMERS MUST PRESENT A VALID PHOTO I.D., CONFIRMATION NUMBER AND THE ACTUAL CREDIT CARD USED TO PURCHASE THE TICKETS. PLEASE NOTE: CHURCHILL DOWNS DOES NOT ALLOW DROP OFF WILL CALL. If you need to get tickets to someone in your party for admission, please forward/transfer the tickets electronically or hand out tickets in advance.

Weather Policy: Festival and concerts take place Rain or Shine. The following items may not be brought onto the premises: weapons (including concealed weapons), umbrellas are prohibited on Oaks, Derby and Breeders’ Cup days, missiles (or any item which may be used as such), thermoses, backpacks, luggage, duffel bags, wagons, balloons, grills, charcoal, glass, tents, alcohol or any substance which is prohibited by Kentucky or Federal Law. Attempts to bring them onto the premises will result in confiscation or refusal of access to the premises. This list is illustrative only. Other items may be prohibited as a condition of admission. Use of cellular telephones or similar communication equipment, or public telephones at Churchill Downs by patrons is allowed for personal and/or business purposes only. Use of such equipment to engage in illegal wagering or transmission of odds, race results, or related gambling information is strictly prohibited by Churchill Downs. Chairs may be brought into the infield for the Kentucky Oaks & Derby through the Infield Gate (4th Street) only. No chairs are permitted in the Grandstand, or Clubhouse. Patrons must be at least 18 years of age with a valid ID, or with a legal guardian to enter the facility. Children (12 & under) General Admission: Free (limit of 4 children with paying adult admission) Dining and Reserved Seating: Children 2-12 years of age may purchase a child's price ticket. Family Adventure Days: Children 2 years and under are free with a paying adult admission. Kentucky Derby and Oaks: General Admission: 12 years and under are free with a limit of 4 children per paying adult. Dining & Box seats: Everyone needs a ticket.
