Beautiful and comfortable theater to watch an amazing comedian perform
My husband is a fan and listens to/watches the Titus podcast (Armageddon Update) all the time. Tickets to the show were my early bday prez to him; I really wasn't a fan, bc all I knew of Titus was a few minutes of watching his standup years ago, and some of his television show more than 20 years ago (which I didn't like). I have to say: Christopher Titus, you might have turned me. I thought it was great material and presented in such a funny, humane and engaging way. (He's been through A LOT and somehow has done that thing that many funny men do: turned trauma into humor - and a way to survive). So glad we went! I was also impressed that, after the show, he took selfies with anyone who wanted them. (His wife, Rachel Bradley, is a sharp comedienne/comic as well - and I watched her Amazon special the next day.)
Never thought I could laugh so hard in one night! Absolutely, the funniest show I have ever been to!
It was over 2 hours of absolutely knee slapping comedy. Titus brought it and Rachel opened the show with a magnificent set.
Fantastic show at the Bijou. Was worried Titus was going to go political like his podcast but he knew the audience and only made on political joke. He used it twice but that was even funnier because he qualified it as the same joke. Great guy who is open and honest about his problems in life. The venue was great and had the meet-n-greet after the show upstairs with plenty of room. Titus was willing to talk with everyone who came out and was very social and respectful. Outstanding show that included his wife as the opening act and she was much better than expected. She isn't as polished but had some great material. You could see Titus's influence and if given time, she could be a quality solo act. 10/10 recommend. Great show at the 114 year old venue.
This is his best show yet! I was so impressed with both him and his wife’s performances!
Great show. He made the audience feel and laugh. What more can you ask for?
Great show, so funny this was my 5th time seeing Titus live and I always just want more. I brought both my son and father and they both also had a great time.
Got to see both him And his wife perform. Both amazing performances. I don’t think I have laughed that much in quit a while. Especially after the car issues we had in the past month or so. Only complaint I had was the chairs were kinda uncomfortable.
This was the first time I saw Chris live, but I have been a fan of his comedy for over a decade now. I can't even remember how many times I have listed to his albums over and over and over again. He is a delight to listen to, with his infectious personality. Chris is the only comic I know of who can make mental illness, childhood abuse, and suicide funny. And he is even better live. I saw a master at work, and now I know for a fact that this was just the first of many more Chris' shows that I will see going forward!!!
The Wilbur is always a challenge as the seating on the floor is over crowded. However, this experience was the worse in the five years I have been attending concerts and shows at the venue. There was NO prescence of any wait staff the entire show. The people sitting at my table said someone served them 10 minutes before the start time. However that was the ONLY time anyone came to our Section (Sec B) for the entirety of the show. We did ask another server for the section in front of us - and she said she would send the assigned server over - which never happened.
Christopher Titus is a fantastic comedian. Seating at the tables in front were cramped. Cocktails were way too expensive.
Chris was great! Not many people can bring light and laughter to their tragic life. I’m very fortunate to have had the chance to see him at the Wilber, a great venue for comedy. I highly recommend his live show! Thx Chris!
Opener was great... laughter never stopped... Christopher is a master of his craft.
Christopher and Rachel did a great job. It was an excellent show. Look forward to the next show.
Overall it was a great time. He tried out new material, but this is the first time I have seen one of his comedy shows, so we weren’t familiar with his old stuff. My only complaint and it is not with just him, it’s all comedians… their material ends up being preachy..
Both Rachel and Titus were incredibly funny. Second time i have seen them live, all new material both times, and a great show both times! Can't wait for them to come around again!
Great seats and comfortable, Titus and Rachel were amazing together with talking about some tragedy but making it funny and entertaining. Hope they come back soon
Chris and Rachel are the funniest comedians alive today! We had an amazing time and thank you for your love and kindness. When they return to South Florida, we will be there! We will keep you updated!!
