  • Poor Experience

by Beatle fan on 12/26/24Fox Performing Arts Center - RiversideRating: 1 out of 5

    1. Too long of a wait in line outside, 20 minutes past the 7pm door opening and unnecessary ladies bag check. 2. The sound level at this venue was way too loud! We've been to hundreds of concerts over the years and NEVER experienced such a poor production. We left after 20 minutes. On the way out of the theater, I voiced our displeasure and a staff member said that the facility was using a new sound system. It looked like an outdoor setup with the large curved speakers hanging from the ceiling on each side of the stage.

  • Excellent musicianship

Was our 1st time seeing Abbey Road and this show Christmas with the Beatles. They played so many of the songs from the Beatles catalog. They stayed in character, sounded great and also had wardrobe changes that reflected the different areas and looks of the Beatles thru time. I would highly recommend checking them out the next time they are in town.

  • Very entertaining show

Excellent cover band with good showmanship around the holiday theme. They asked a group of local high school band members to play strings on a few songs. It was lovely. Very enjoyable experience, great holiday gift for my parents.

  • OK, but

Very loud, the light overhead remained on during performance which was distracting, during breaks the background video was out of synch with the music, performers were very good musicians and decent singers but not a dynamic stage presence, disliked the constant "are you having fun yet?"
