great show with wonderful effects, terrific talent with actors, dancers but horrible bathroom line.
The dancers, singers, costumes, and sets were marvelous. My only complaint was the theater continued to allow people to enter after the show began and they kept getting in our line of site.
Took me 39 yrs but i was finally able to see an amazing performance, definitely something i will do every year from here on out.
this show was exceptional! i loved it! the show had variety, and precision, festive colors!
First time seeing the Rockettes. The program was excellent, varied and very entertaining.
It was really an incredible show. The only complaint is that they let people be seated up to 15 minutes after the show began, this was extremely distracting when the Ushers would jog down the aisles to grab people. The finale wasn't the most exciting part, which was strange but there was enough incredible scenes before that that it was fine.
Whey to expensive for the show. I would not go again
The show was great! I love that they incorporate the real meaning of Christmas with the nativity scene and story.
I don't know how those women do it! What stamina! The show was amazing!
It is literally the most amazing show I've ever seen! The lighting crew did an amazing job with the lights coming off the stage, I thought that was beautiful. It's something I've never seen in my life. The dancers were incredible, too. They were right on beat and the art of dance is just amazing.
It was incredible!!!!!! I loved every second of it! :)
The actual performance is always spectacular! The venue is beautiful. The audience is a hot mess! Here goes.... Even though it was mentioned in print and by voice not to use cameras, We were constantly distracted by people's camera flash. Others were video taping and their bright screens definitely distracted from the stage. People munching with their mouth open was rude and gross. We were seated on the aisle facing the stage, but so many people were up/down during the performance, that they continually blocked our view. Tickets are unbelievable expensive, even at the supposed 50% discount, they were still overpriced. Everything is lip-synced, but at least the orchestra was live!
I'm rating based on value of ticket price. We paid $135 each to see the Radio City Hall Christmas Spectacular in NYC on 12/21/14. For the price, it just wasn't worth it. Granted, the Rockettes are incredibly talented, but the show also included too many performances by non-Rockettes (which I'm thinking is necessary to give the ladies a break). I would have rather spent my $ elsewhere while visiting NYC I was also disappointed that the Rockettes dancers only appeared to include two women of color out of the entire dance group, which means the directors/others are not out reaching to other demographics. Save your $$! We attended Mariah Carey's Christmas concert the night before and paid triple the cost via stubgub--our entire family said they would have paid to see her again the next night instead of the Rockette's.
The show itself was great. Radio City Music Hall has to do a better job of 1 - cleaning up the venue, the mens room was a disgrace with paper all over the floor with the bins overflowing with trash. I thought then rugs needed a little updating. It all felt a little "dumpy". When you pay the kind of money you do for tickets, in my case $150/per, you expect everything to be "classy" it was not.
Awesome show. We come to New York every year to see this show and it has become a family tradition. The orchestra, dancers, performers, and Santa are fantastic. The costume are so festive. We can't wait to see it again!
have seen this show several times. still exciting. our seats were great. the only negative: people that came in late and had no regard for others. they stood there talking and getting their seats , taking off their coats, etc.blocking our view then continued to talk and yell down the aisle to others in their party the entire time.
This show was spectacular as usual! Keep up the good work cause you make it enjoyable for the adults as well. Tks.
So disappointing. We got to the theater on time. Paid for premium seats. Then the show began and the so called ushers continued seating around us. We missed the first three large numbers because of the late seating. I wanted to ask for my money back, but my wife was more calm. She said it wasn't a "REAL" theater, but the tickets sure cost like one. It ruined a great performance. It was maddening for so many folks to be seated even half way through the show. I guess when a production is a money cow for the organization, then you seat all late comers. You think they would have learned by now how to get large crowds in and out of the theater on time. It was a lousy experience for the price.
Christmas Spectacular was just amazing. The childhood memories that came crashing in the moment I walked through the doors and saw the tall chandeliers. The show is breathtaking and fun as always. It's a timeless act. I act wait to see it again and again and again!
Better than I remember it being. I think they just keep getting better and better. Bringing the magic of Christmas to kids and adults a like. Go if you can!
