Chris Stapleton was a fixture of the Nashville music scene long before becoming a contemporary torchbearer for outlaw country music. The Kentucky native moved to the Music City in 2001 and served as frontman for The SteelDrivers and The Jompson Brothers while writing songs for Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker and more. Stapleton unveiled his debut solo album Traveller in 2015 behind singles like “Nobody to Blame” and his first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, “Tennessee Whiskey.” The album reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 six months after its release and has since been RIAA-certified platinum six times. In 2017, Stapleton released the two-volume effort From a Room, and his fourth full-length Starting Over followed in 2020. Stapleton has won eight Grammys and received two additional nominations in 2023 for his fifth album, Higher. Aside from working alongside country music heavyweights like Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Lee Ann Womack and Morgan Wallen, Stapleton has also shared the mic with pop elites such as Taylor Swift, Adele, Justin Timberlake, P!NK and Ed Sheeran.

Honestly, one of the best shows I have seen! He sounds so amazing! I loved everything about it! Best experience!!
Chris Stapelton is a true musician. His music and voice are amazing. Love that his wife, Morgane performs with him. They need to record more duos! Love his concerts!
Only show I've been to in the past 3 years that has started on time!!!!! And I mean to the minute; true perfection. Professional entertainment from the beginning to the end. Outstanding singing and musicians. Truly a wonderful show. Everyone should attend. Chris Stapleton rocks! What a voice! What a Guitar player! His band is great!!! I want to go again AND so does my entire family. He appeals to all age groups.
Chris Stapleton was AWESOME; Venue was great - will go again to this place. Marcus King was a trainwreck.
Great show, enjoyed hearing some of our favorite songs. Disappointed that Morgane was not with the band, otherwise it was an awesome show.
I was at concert with my son and daughter-in-law. So fun that they hand a good time with their old mom. And I think they enjoyed my company too. I identify with Chris’s lyrics and their musicianship did not disappoint either. Good players. ❤️
Stage was great and sound carried. Chris sang his heart (and voice) out. Hope he comes back to SD soon and hope I can afford a ticket!
Didn't realize there were two opening acts instead of one. First one was okay, didn't much care for the second one. There was a 45-minute wait between Marcus King and Chris Stapleton. For much of that time, no one was on stage doing anything. Chris did not take the stage until 9:15 p.m., but once he did, his show was great. Enjoyed it very much, but I personally felt like they could have skipped one or both of the openers, and Chris could have started earlier and/or played longer. As I said, just my opinion.
Chris admitted he was losing his voice so not his best performance. Only 1 encore: several hits left off the playlist; shorter playing time. Opening acts were unfamiliar and not our style. Compare this to the next night when he played Ames, IA with Little Big Town and George Strait. Guess we should have taken a little road trip.
It would be nice if Chris sang to the crowd rather than his wife. We had very up close seats and only saw his right side/back. Love his music, he’s not an entertainer.
