    Chris Knight Acoustic Set

    by Linetrash71 on 3/29/14Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

Saw this show at Taft in downtown Cincinnati. The venue was great. Plenty of room and great sound. Ben Knight & The Well Diggers opened up. They were good. Chris Knight played great. Songs off his prior albums and off of "Little Victories." He talked to the crowd some between a couple songs. This show was WELL worth the money. Beers were a little high but that's to be expected.

    Quintessential Americana

    by Highway119 on 2/2/14Taft Theatre - Cincinnatti

Chris Knight is on my bucket list of artists I want to see before I die. His music is pure country in its very essence. Tales of heartache, survival as a common person, flaws and all, and his ability to reach what I feel would be a wide audience (I am a Kentuckian with a Master's degree in English Education, and I appreciate him on both sides of that spectrum), make him one of the best artists today in my opinion. If you don't at least listen to "It Ain't Easy Being Me," "Love and a 45," or "Down the River," you are doing yourself an injustice.

    Chris Knight concert

by Kateyfaye on 2/17/13Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

To be honest, we were very disappointed. We traveled 4.5 hrs for the Wed night show. Our tickets showed that we had assigned seating, when we arrived we walked down the steps to a dark large room, something that they called the ball room. No chairs, several old couches. We stood along the wall for the show. Chris was good. The back feed wasn't good for most of the show, and making this awful sound. It would of been a much better show at a bar, at least somewhere with some seating and some lighting. Very disappointed overall.

Chris Knight: Hattiesburg, MS Bottling Company

by WxHerk on 2/25/12The Bottling Company - Hattiesburg

GREAT SHOW!! Chris' performance was fantastic. He approached all of the songs with all the heart and grit he put into the recorded versions. He told some great stories but never strayed far from the music. Bottom line, I'll repeat myself. Chris Knight put everything into every song and everyone certainly appeared to be thrilled with the performance. BONUS: After the show, Chris spent a lot of time visiting and signing merchandise. Being a country boy from Mississippi, Chris Knight sure seems like my neighbor separated by about 700 miles. Needless to say, I'll catch every Chris Knight show I possibly can!

    Amazing!

    by Jstark321 on 8/9/11Billy Bob's - Fort Worth

I admittedly did not know much about Chris Knight however my husband is a big fan. When I went to see Chris Knight at Billy Bob's it changed me forever. He is authentic and I found myself mesmerized by his performance. I am now a fan myself!

    Only The Very Finest Songwriting

by Buck0123 on 9/10/10The Ark - Ann Arbor

This is our 3rd time seeing Chris Knight at the ARK. There is no better singer/songwriter on this planet...PERIOD. Chris's delivery is outstanding, while his storytelling compares to the the best read novels in American history. It truely amazes me that this man goes almost completely unnoticed by the mainstream audience...I don't get it??? His stories make the hair on my arms stand straight up! Chris was accompanied by sideman Chris Clark on mandolin/guitar and b/u vocals...what a musician this guy is, and the perfect addition to Mr. Knight's show. I've seen hundred of shows/artists over the years...there is none better than Chris Knight. History will prove that Chris Knight ranks at the top of the songwriter food chain...TOTALLY OUTSTANDING!!! The ARK does it again....

    Outlaw Country

by Anonymous on 9/9/10The Ark - Ann Arbor

Chris Knight performed at the ARK in Ann Arbor Wedneday evening. The enviroment was very intimate and the musical delivery was raw and basic with Chris handling the vocals accompanied by Mr. Clark (not me or a relative) on various stringed instruments and backup vocals. Knight's music is not for everyone in that he tells stories about rural America in very stark and plain terms. He is an excellent wordsmith and his following, while small, is very devoted. His on stage persona is not overly friendly but he did interact with the crowd after the show. I will see him again if he returns (in about 3 years he says).

Best concert I've been to! I've seen these guys seperate before, but playing together as backup for each other really showed off how talented they each are. It was great, and I hope they do it again soon.

    More Acoustic Shows Please!!!!

by LTrain9 on 5/21/10GLASS CACTUS NIGHTCLUB - Grapevine

Probably one of the best shows I've been to in a long time. 3 awesome musicians/singers/songwriters on the stage together with just their acoustic guitars. Hopefully there will be some more shows like this.
