CHRIS JANSON IN CONCERT:
Country singer/songwriter Chris Janson is relatively new to the scene, but he's already earning praise as the future of country music. Hot on the heels of his 2013 debut full-length, Janson released follow-up album Take It to the Bank to critical acclaim in 2014, sealing the deal with fiery blue-collar performances that have earned him a reputation as one of the genre's most exciting live acts. Whether he's giving a mean harmonica solo or waxing romantic on songs like "'Til a Woman Comes Along," Janson never fails to captivate his audiences, promising big things to come as he hits the road for his 2014 tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Missouri, Janson was working as a songwriter as early as 18 years old, collaborating with the likes of Guns N' Roses' Bill Anderson and Holly Williams, granddaughter of Hank Williams, Sr. After relocating to Nashville, he landed a year-long residency at Tootsie's Orchid Lounger, where he caught the attention of Neil Young one night with a cover of Young classic "Cortez the Killer." Releasing his self-titled debut album in 2013, Janson landed two singles on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, "Better I Don't" and "Cut Me Some Slack," but it was his unpredictable live performances that really turned heads. Following the early-2014 release of sophomore album Take It to the Bank, Janson hit the road for a highly anticipated tour in support of the record.

Could not have had a more enjoyable time than we did at this concert. Chris performed flawlessly as he always does. Band was friendly and personable just like Chris. Unlike a lot of artists Chris and the band spend time with their fans for autographs and conversations, which makes you feel like the concert was for you. We have seen seven of Chris’s concerts in five different states, and have always left feeling like that was his best concert ever. Chris and the band celebrate their faith in God, love for their families, love of our country, love for the support from fans, and being thankful every day for blessings that comes their way. We have tickets for his next concert in the close vicinity already, and can’t wait for the concert. See you at the Georgia Mountain Fair grounds.
We've seen 15-20 Chris Janson shows and he always delivers an incredible performance. He is always genuine and outgoing which is very refreshing these days. We are going to another show in 2 weeks and looking forward to another incredible show
Very energetic, entertaining performer!! Special when he highlighted his son on one of his songs!!
This was one of the best concerts that I've ever seen maybe THE BEST! Garth Brooks was pretty good at Chris puts on a great show! I'll definitely see him again! Thanks for the awesome time!!
Awesome performance by Chris and Trigirly Gold. So much fun!
We had a blast! Chris Janson was high energy, on point, talented and fun! The Venue was organized and all workers were very polite!
I didn't like that he kept making motions for the crowd to cheer louder. Also he would sing a different song in the middle of whatever song he was singing. It was just weird.
Took my wife to the Chris Janson concert and we had a blast. My wife doesn’t care that much for concerts but she enjoyed this one. No opening act so it was straight to great music and he delivered! Would love to see him again. I didn’t realize all of the good songs he sings. He is a must see!
During one of Chris’s songs he heard a voice that caught his attention. He asked who it was and had her lifted up on stage. She was 12 years old he told her how beautiful her voice was and asked her to sing with him. They sang buy me a boat and then Amazing Grace together. The crowd loved it. What a great man.
We had the best time at Chris concert. The venue was really nice. Lots of room with the seating. Chris took time during his performance to take some pictures with the fans and also brought up a young lady to sing with him. I've seen him multiple times and he always puts on a great show.
Chris Janson was high energy and so excited to be there. He brought his wife out on stage at one point and you could see the love they have for each other. He also brought a 12 year old girl on stage and she sang 3 songs with him. He’s an incredibly talented artist, playing 4 instruments on stage. The venue was great and the song and acoustics were next level. The sound engineer knew what they were doing when they set up that night. I would 100% see him again.
He put on an awesome show! Full of energy. Loved ALL of it. Did not disappoint!!! Colin Stough was really good too!!
The venue was great and parking was no issue. He put on mm a great show
I love his music but he went off script and inserted orher artist mysic which he did well but would have rathered heared his music
Amazing concert! The venue was nice! Loved the music 🎵💞
I thought this was a solid performance. I love that he travels with his family and brings them out. Whoever controls his equipment should be fired because there were multiple issues during the show but overall not a bad show. NOW, Parmalee was amazing! In my opinion, they should have been the main act. I was blown away by their interaction and positive, upbeat performance. Bravo Parmalee, good job Chris.
SO much talent! This was by far the best concert at the Fruityard yet. All the bands were awesome.
Non stop entertainment and audience engagement from the start til the end. My husband is not a country music fan and he also said it was the best concert he had ever attended.
This concert was so entertaining!! The wonderful energy was felt throughout the Turfway event center!
