CHRIS JANSON IN CONCERT:
Country singer/songwriter Chris Janson is relatively new to the scene, but he's already earning praise as the future of country music. Hot on the heels of his 2013 debut full-length, Janson released follow-up album Take It to the Bank to critical acclaim in 2014, sealing the deal with fiery blue-collar performances that have earned him a reputation as one of the genre's most exciting live acts. Whether he's giving a mean harmonica solo or waxing romantic on songs like "'Til a Woman Comes Along," Janson never fails to captivate his audiences, promising big things to come as he hits the road for his 2014 tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Missouri, Janson was working as a songwriter as early as 18 years old, collaborating with the likes of Guns N' Roses' Bill Anderson and Holly Williams, granddaughter of Hank Williams, Sr. After relocating to Nashville, he landed a year-long residency at Tootsie's Orchid Lounger, where he caught the attention of Neil Young one night with a cover of Young classic "Cortez the Killer." Releasing his self-titled debut album in 2013, Janson landed two singles on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, "Better I Don't" and "Cut Me Some Slack," but it was his unpredictable live performances that really turned heads. Following the early-2014 release of sophomore album Take It to the Bank, Janson hit the road for a highly anticipated tour in support of the record.
The opening act was not very good. The venue which is small, view would be good but once everyone stands up you cant see. The venue plays the music louder than the vocals. The concession choices needs improvments, the bathroom needs to cleaned on a more frequent schedule. Can we please go back to cash.
Chris never disappoints. Fun and patriotic. I’ve seen him 5 times. He gets better and better.
The show itself was decent… the sound system needed to be better, he sounded muffled at times. My biggest “issue” was political & personal views being brought into the show. I was there to hear music, not listen to personal opinions - regardless of where anyone stands, that is NOT what we paid to hear - we paid to hear MUSIC…
Chris Janson was excellent. His singing and music outstanding.
You don’t have to like country music ( but I do ) to like Chris Jansen! He puts on a great show for anyone who like live music. He includes all genres Of music in his shows….Ive seen him at Penn’s Peak 3 times and will come back the next time he’s here…
He’s the best performer I’ve ever seen. Very entertaining..
The Chris Janson show was awesome, as usual! He is such a great performer, so talented, and just loves his family, God and country. We love seeing his son perform with him and also when he introduced his wife and daughter - what a great family! We look forward to the next show! The Penns Peak venue is really awesome as well!!

What an amazing show from start to finish!!! Chris Janson gave us everything he had! His passion, patriotism, uplifting songs, compassion for an audience member that had a medical emergency, and the ending, brining on a military serviceman for an amazing patriotic ending! Thank you Chris Janson for coming to Reno, NV!
He always puts on a great show!!! The GSR was nice every working was helpful and friendly. If you haven’t seen Chris make sure you do it’s worth every penny
Excellent entertainer, engaging with the crowd, Red Neck who believes in God and Country. Go to the show and you will come out of it feeling butter and uplifted.
An amazing show! Chris played a lot of instruments really well. Kept the show pumped up and going. He is an awesome showman! Will definitely go see again!!!!
I have seen Chris many times here and in Fl. He’s by far one of my favorites. His energy alone is amazing. Sharing his family with fans means a lot to me. I’ve met his wife and in laws. I’ll always tell people about him when standing in line for another concert. Just love him!
Great time seats were awesome plenty of room to move around i got these tickets really early and it was well worth it I would love to do it again in the future
My husband and I have been to several Chris Janson concerts. He seemed to be going through the motions at this one in Knoxville though, so his genuine self wasn't there. Also, like several concerts that we have been to, this turned into a political rally. I shouldn't know who a singer voted for. For example, we've been to many other concerts, and I couldn't tell you the political views of the singers at 90% of those.
Really enjoyed the concert. Very entertaining. Will definitely go to another Chris Janson show in the future.

One of the best performers, musicians of country music! I always try to see Chris Janson. He is so very talented, Loves God, Family, Country and is an All American Man! He takes time to acknowledge our Veterans, The Flag, and his belief in living in the greatest country; USA!
I've seen Chris Janson play in Nashville at CMA Fest and now here at Will Rogers Memorial Auditorium. He's so much fun to watch. He brings amazing energy and makes it fun for the audience! I'd go see him again if he were to come to town!
This concert was awesome! Chris Janson has a great message and is a true family man. During the concert he brought up a little girl on stage that had Down Syndrome and let her sing a song with him. He is a true patriot and supports our veterans. I’m so glad I got to see him in concert.
