CHRIS JANSON IN CONCERT:

Country singer/songwriter Chris Janson is relatively new to the scene, but he's already earning praise as the future of country music. Hot on the heels of his 2013 debut full-length, Janson released follow-up album Take It to the Bank to critical acclaim in 2014, sealing the deal  with fiery blue-collar performances that have earned him a reputation as one of the genre's most exciting live acts. Whether he's giving a mean harmonica solo or waxing romantic on songs like "'Til a Woman Comes Along," Janson never fails to captivate his audiences, promising big things to come as he hits the road for his 2014 tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Born in Missouri, Janson was working as a songwriter as early as 18 years old, collaborating with the likes of Guns N' Roses' Bill Anderson and Holly Williams, granddaughter of Hank Williams, Sr. After relocating to Nashville, he landed a year-long residency at Tootsie's Orchid Lounger, where he caught the attention of Neil Young one night with a cover of Young classic "Cortez the Killer." Releasing his self-titled debut album in 2013, Janson landed two singles on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, "Better I Don't" and "Cut Me Some Slack," but it was his unpredictable live performances that really turned heads. Following the early-2014 release of sophomore album Take It to the Bank, Janson hit the road for a highly anticipated tour in support of the record.

    The Ryman is hands down the best place to see a show! Chris Janson is amazing! No other singer songwriter comes close to him. It was a magical night. Keith Urban joined him for a song and surprised him with the news that the grand ole opry was inviting Janson to join the opry family. This show had so much heart !! Best show ever !!!!!! I have been to a lot of concerts. But nothing ever as amazing as this! Chris Janson blew the roof off!!

    Chris Janson is one of the best entertainers I've ever seen!!! He's so full of energy. He keeps the crowd on their feet for sure! His bald eagle and pterodactyl moves are hilarious!!! He just brightens the whole place with his enthusiasm. I will definitely go see him again!!!!

    Chris Janson puts on the most amazing show! Loved it!!! I could go see him over and over. He does so much more than just singing. He interacts and entertains. You can really tell that he loves his fans and loves what he does. I would recommend his shows for everybody of any age.

    The Chris Janson Solo Concert was THE most outstanding event I have ever attended! Chris set The Ryman,The Mother Church of country music, on fire. Chris Janson on stage is a cross between Garth and Jagger..... he is THE most outstanding performance artist I have seen in concert. Toward the end of the evening he brought a friend of his on stage for a surprise guest appearance.... Keith Urban. It was incredible and then IT happened. Keith Urban turned the tables on Chris and invited him to be a Member of The Grand Ole Opry! It was phenomenal ! If anyone is within 6 hours of a Chris Janson concert ..... GO..... I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

    From the second Chris Janson hits the stage you can’t turn away! His performance was absolutely electrifying and the vibe of his set captured your heart and imagination and transported you away from real life for a little while! I’ve seen numerous acts in all genres of music and Chis is that rare breed whos energy and passion combines into a mesmerizing stage presence that most headlining acts can only dream of and he does it when singing, playing guitar, piano, and especially on the harmonica! He legitimately seems like a true hard working family man who’s doing exactly what he was born to do. That’s such a rare commodity these days and it will leave you wanting more!

    I really, really liked Chris Jansen. I thought he really gave of himself onstage. So much energy! He also involved his audience in the performance. I WILL go see him again if he comes this close again. Very good show!!!!

    Chris Janson performance is always great, the venue itself not all bad maybe needs to change some things make it even better venue. I think all acts should have a cat walk so the entertainers can interact with their fans.

    One of the best live shows you can see. He has so many great songs that he writes himself. He really keeps the fun going the whole show. Go see him if you get the chance.
