CHRIS JANSON IN CONCERT:
Country singer/songwriter Chris Janson is relatively new to the scene, but he's already earning praise as the future of country music. Hot on the heels of his 2013 debut full-length, Janson released follow-up album Take It to the Bank to critical acclaim in 2014, sealing the deal with fiery blue-collar performances that have earned him a reputation as one of the genre's most exciting live acts. Whether he's giving a mean harmonica solo or waxing romantic on songs like "'Til a Woman Comes Along," Janson never fails to captivate his audiences, promising big things to come as he hits the road for his 2014 tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Missouri, Janson was working as a songwriter as early as 18 years old, collaborating with the likes of Guns N' Roses' Bill Anderson and Holly Williams, granddaughter of Hank Williams, Sr. After relocating to Nashville, he landed a year-long residency at Tootsie's Orchid Lounger, where he caught the attention of Neil Young one night with a cover of Young classic "Cortez the Killer." Releasing his self-titled debut album in 2013, Janson landed two singles on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, "Better I Don't" and "Cut Me Some Slack," but it was his unpredictable live performances that really turned heads. Following the early-2014 release of sophomore album Take It to the Bank, Janson hit the road for a highly anticipated tour in support of the record.
For $20 we had a great time at this concert. Chris Janson played all the songs we love. The venue was great and our seats were really good. The only issue I had was the lack of bathrooms. 3 ports potties just didn’t work out. Otherwise everything was great!
Saw him before and this concert was even better!!!
Chris spoke of his Christianity, his wife and children, PLUS sang fix a drink, drunk girl, and buy me a boat! VERY impressive and interactive!
He had non-stop from start to finish (singing, harmonica, guitar, keyboard, and drums)
This was the best concert I've been to. He played the entire time he was on the stage. The crowd was awesome. I would most definitely see him again. My entire family enjoyed the show too. I loved how he talked about loving God and that he was a Christian man.

This was HANDS-DOWN the best concert that I've been to..! Chris, communication and audience engagement made you feel like he was talking directly to you... Wow! What an experience.. This is a must see "God Loving Solid Entertaining Performance"...!

The show was great, the venue outstanding, the weather perfect!! I highly recommend this venue but also Chris Jansen. We had a blast w him. His stage presence is so much fun!! You know his music is awesome, too !
I do wish I would have bought my ticket before I did. I still had an amazing time. He was the best concert I seen in awhile. This is the second concert I have seen at the Wind Creek casino and I look forward to another one. The people are so friendly and it is like you are with family. I would go again in a heart beat.
Chris Janson has excellent stage presence and knows how to get the crowd pumped and involved! Thoroughly enjoyed and concert and would see him again. The concert was only 1 hr. 15 min. and I think he should have at least played for a minimum of 1.5 hours. Waiting in line for drinks we missed the first couple songs. The venue was cozy, but being in the 14th row I expected to be able to see the stage better; however, the additions of the screens were helpful.
Love this artist. I saw him 2 years ago at the ACM's in Vegas and loved his music then. He has grown by leaps and bounds as an entertainer since then.
The show was so laid back people were nice and they way out was set up was great views but the only down fall was the price for the beers

Lots of fun! I love standing in the water it’s so cool. Although second year in a row where one night was so cold everybody left early. Also the lineup was really weak this year. But overall a great time and I would recommend! Also don’t go if you don’t plan on standing in the pool. It won’t be nearly as enjoyable.
What more can I say ? It’s country music baby ! All the stars were awesome.. My wife and I got these tickets to see our favorite country star Chris Young and we even got to take a picture with him.. The setting was excellent, a great way to bring country music back to the Mandalay Bay after the horrific incident that happened back on October 1, 2017..
After 30 years of country concerts Chris Janson blew me away... Stunning!
Great event with great entertainers. Affordable and will definitely go again.
