CHRIS JANSON IN CONCERT:
Country singer/songwriter Chris Janson is relatively new to the scene, but he's already earning praise as the future of country music. Hot on the heels of his 2013 debut full-length, Janson released follow-up album Take It to the Bank to critical acclaim in 2014, sealing the deal with fiery blue-collar performances that have earned him a reputation as one of the genre's most exciting live acts. Whether he's giving a mean harmonica solo or waxing romantic on songs like "'Til a Woman Comes Along," Janson never fails to captivate his audiences, promising big things to come as he hits the road for his 2014 tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Missouri, Janson was working as a songwriter as early as 18 years old, collaborating with the likes of Guns N' Roses' Bill Anderson and Holly Williams, granddaughter of Hank Williams, Sr. After relocating to Nashville, he landed a year-long residency at Tootsie's Orchid Lounger, where he caught the attention of Neil Young one night with a cover of Young classic "Cortez the Killer." Releasing his self-titled debut album in 2013, Janson landed two singles on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, "Better I Don't" and "Cut Me Some Slack," but it was his unpredictable live performances that really turned heads. Following the early-2014 release of sophomore album Take It to the Bank, Janson hit the road for a highly anticipated tour in support of the record.
What a great show! Chris was so high energy, a fabulous performer, very involved with the audience. We did the meet and greet because he's my son's favorite and he was so good with my son. I love this guy even more now. Go see him!
What an amazing performer! Aside from his music, he played a medley and selections from genre classics that shaped his style as moved from harmonica to guitar to piano to drums!! He’s truly talented! Mars Music Hall made it even better with its up close setup.
When people stand up you can't see. People shouldn't be allowed to stand for a long period of time. Because it is a studio setting. You have nice cushions seats.
I seen him one time before period this is probably 1 of the best high energy shows I've ever seen. He is a real class performer and one humble human being With a whole lot of talent

Chris Janson was great. It was my first time seeing him In concert. I had gotten those tickets for a present for my husband. He loved it as well.
Chris Jensen is so vivacious. He is like a tornado and hurricane rolled into one on stage. We enjoyed his show immensely. I love hearing his songs but seeing him takes the enjoyment to a whole new level. He is so talented on instruments as well as vocally.
Chris is electric! He loves life, people, his music and God...and it shows! I wasn’t in the best mood for the concert, my dad was in the hospital very ill and I felt guilt for going to a concert, but so glad I did! He was uplifting! And my dad passed the next day...but my dad would have approved and enjoyed Chris as well!
Chris Janson was amazing! I had seen him once before and he was just as incredible the 2nd time. He is a great talent and puts on an awesome show. Anyone who likes a "real" show would be glad they went to see him!

Chris Janson has a spectacular amount of energy that he pours into his concert! Truly grateful for each of his fans; he pours his entire being into each and every song! I would see him over and over and it wouldn’t get old! Great concert! Come back to Peoria IL!!!!
This was an awesome performance. We knew the seats would be great due to the small venue. The show was even better than expected. He went all out and is a great performer.

Chris Janson’s performance was awesome. He was so energetic and very personable with the crowd. His harmonica performances were excellent. I would definitely go see him again.
One of the best experiences I’ve ever had at the Civic Center! We honestly bought our tickets because we were friends of the opening act and we left HUGE fans of Chris Janson!! What a tremendous performer. His amazing performance was only enhanced by his obvious love of God, family and country in a time when its not always popular to admit. I hope to see him here again!!!
all three performers tonight were incredible talented and entertaining; our group had a very enjoyable time; no bad seats in the house; easy access in and out of parking lot; the seats could be spread apart a bit, instead of right on top of each other; chris Janson is an asset
LovedChris Janson, his music, and his energy !! Unfortunately the sound system was subpar, and we were not crazy about the SMOKY casino we had to walk through to get there. We would go see Chris again, but not at Treasure Island Casino.
