CHRIS JANSON IN CONCERT:
Country singer/songwriter Chris Janson is relatively new to the scene, but he's already earning praise as the future of country music. Hot on the heels of his 2013 debut full-length, Janson released follow-up album Take It to the Bank to critical acclaim in 2014, sealing the deal with fiery blue-collar performances that have earned him a reputation as one of the genre's most exciting live acts. Whether he's giving a mean harmonica solo or waxing romantic on songs like "'Til a Woman Comes Along," Janson never fails to captivate his audiences, promising big things to come as he hits the road for his 2014 tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Missouri, Janson was working as a songwriter as early as 18 years old, collaborating with the likes of Guns N' Roses' Bill Anderson and Holly Williams, granddaughter of Hank Williams, Sr. After relocating to Nashville, he landed a year-long residency at Tootsie's Orchid Lounger, where he caught the attention of Neil Young one night with a cover of Young classic "Cortez the Killer." Releasing his self-titled debut album in 2013, Janson landed two singles on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, "Better I Don't" and "Cut Me Some Slack," but it was his unpredictable live performances that really turned heads. Following the early-2014 release of sophomore album Take It to the Bank, Janson hit the road for a highly anticipated tour in support of the record.
Chris Janson absolutely rocks live. His energy, respect for and interaction with the audience is amazing. He clearly loves it and make a the audience love him. Of course liking his music is a bonus.
Chris Janson put on an amazing show. He seemed genuinely happy to be performing and was super nice the audience. He showed respect to his opening act and how great they performed. I would see him again at the Sound Board.
Great concert. We loved the content between songs, the jokes and the true personal touches Chris put into the show. It felt like you were watching your friend play on stage. Good job and stay real.
Won tickets from radio station. Havent been to a concert in a few years and never been to Motor City for one. It was good, a little loud but thats expected. Chris Janson is multi-tallented as he plays several insturments. Not necessarly my kind of music. Everyone there seemed to enjoy it!

Chris put on a great show. Small venue so every seat was good. Exceeded my expectations.
If you get the chance to see Chris Janson….take it. He out on a good show. He was so genuine and humbling. It didn’t seem like a performance but an artist having a good time playing his music. The Sunset Casino in Henderson, NV was a great outdoor venue.
Pit pass was great not overly crowded. venue was perfect. Just what we needed
Janson is awesome, venue could use an upgrade thou, bathroom facilities vs porta potties would be better. Also, charging $3 for an 8 oz water is ridiculous. Can deal with the plastic chairs but other improvements would be welcome.

I loved the atmosphere, Chris was a great entertainer and great music. But it was so loud that I didn’t enjoy staying for the whole time.
Chris Janson is a wonderful musician full of energy and works the stage to the max. He makes it personal telling about his life and family. Amphitheater is perfect otherwise he would blow the roof off any building. Great show and entertainer.

An evening outdoor event with beautiful weather away from the crowded strip. Chris is awesome like always, playing his hits as well as never before heard songs. He plays a variety of other music genres and songs because he’s such a talented musician. The environment and crowd was safe and whenever Chris is in town, I will be there!!!
