About

Chris Cagle is exciting his country music and Southern rock fans during his tour through the United States in 2014. In fact, tickets have already sold out for some of his concerts, which feature his down-to-earth connection with his audience, funny stories, and many of his top hits. Concert attendees will laugh, cry, and rock to his songs. His first album, Play It Loud, came out in 2000 and achieved great success. The hit song “I Breathe In, I Breathe Out” reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs, helping Play It Loud achieve gold-record status in 2002. His 2003 self-titled album was certified gold as well and reached No. 1 on the Top Country Albums, and the hit singles “What a Beautiful Day” and “Chicks Dig It" reached Nos. 4 and 5, respectively, on the US Hot Country Songs chart.

In 2004, Cagle was diagnosed with vocal cord problems that forced him to rest his voice for several months. He worked on his album Anywhere But Here (2005), which continued to showcase his hard country-rock style, and it was another smashing success. In 2008, Cagle released his fourth studio album, My Life’s Been a Country Song. It debuted at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart, with the single “What Kinda Gone” peaking at No. 3 on the Hot Country Songs chart. In 2010, The album Back in the Saddle was issued in 2012 and peaked at No. 6 on the Top Country Albums chart. Fans will be able to hear his Top 15 single “Got My Country On” and other favorite songs highlighting his unique blend of country and rock during his tour. Everyone attending his concerts will enjoy his humorous anecdotes and the openness he shares with the crowd.

  • Chris Cagle was FANTASTIC!!!

    by Modracer2 on 6/18/13Bluebird Nightclub - BloomingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Went and seen Chris Cagle at the Bluebird and it is a small place but was in the top 3 concerts I've ever been to and I've been to over 20 in my lifetime. He is just as good live as he is on the radio and I would recommend anyone to go see him. During the concert he said "whoever buys my CD tonight, I will sign each and everyone of them and meet each individual". He was a man of his word and stood right outside his tour bus and signed my CD and everyone else's.

My girl friend and I were kicked out after about a half hour for clapping and cheering after our favorite song was on. We are very discusted with all of this. I will never go to another concert in this town again. It was a waist of time and money! There was one lady who hasn't liked me for a few years and she was sitting in front of me. So of course we are the ones who get in trouble.

  • Pleasantly surprised!

Didn't really know who Chris was but my husband and I were pleasantly surprised with Chris. Loved his music and the band and loved the way he talked about his family. He just seemed like a good old boy from small town.

  • Always happy with Chris Cagle

Chris Cagle never disappoints. He is real and always cuts the crap and feels like a friend. Venue: Good: small Bad: really really long unorganized lines to the bar.

  • Chris Cagle and Randy Houser were perfect!

    by Ronda60 on 3/18/13Emerald Queen Casino - TacomaRating: 5 out of 5

This was great concert. I like when artists talk to the audience about their lives and experiences and interact with the audience. I like a smaller venue so this is possible, not to mention they rocked!

The concert was great! Our first time at Emerald Queen, had always heard how smoky it is there. It was fine, just like any other casino!

I have seen many country artists, but Chris Cagle put on by far the best show! He entertained the crowd and had personal moments with guests! The best thing is his shows sound excactly like his CD's! Definately a must see!

  • A memorable performance

    by 911kris on 3/16/13EQC - TacomaRating: 5 out of 5

The accoustic show was great, but Chris's humility made the show even better. He is a very humble man and genuinely grateful for the support of his fans. Several times during his performance he became emotional which just about brought the house down. Small venues tend to keep shows intimate like this, but not many artists open up to a crowd as Chris did. Chris engaged with the crowd and spoke of his support of military personnel (and their spouses--at the insistance of his wife). He recognized a soldier in the audience whom had just returned from a tour of duty overseas. Two guests gave Chris bracelets memorializing two local soldiers that have been killed in the Middle East. He proudly wore both bracelets and sang in the young men's honor.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that I had to wait in the beer line forever. Great concert.

  • Loved him years ago and still today!!

by Starsnsnips on 3/15/13Emerald Queen Casino - TacomaRating: 5 out of 5

Chris was wonderful to watch! My best friend and I went to go see him since we loved his song "Chicks Dig It" when we were in High School! We said if we had the chance we'd go see him live and it was a blast! The show was emotional as military spouses gave Chris memorial bracelets of their loved ones who died while overseas. I love the voice of Chris Cagle as he puts his heart and soul into his music! Absolutely loved his show and would go see him again! Randy Houser did a great job! Love his music as well! Even though mistakes were made by both singers and their songs, you knew they loved what they did and one mistake wasn't keeping them from singing!
