Chris Cagle is exciting his country music and Southern rock fans during his tour through the United States in 2014. His 2003 self-titled album was certified gold as well and reached No. 1 on the Top Country Albums, and the hit singles “What a Beautiful Day” and “Chicks Dig It" reached Nos. 4 and 5, respectively, on the US Hot Country Songs chart.
In 2004, Cagle was diagnosed with vocal cord problems that forced him to rest his voice for several months. He worked on his album Anywhere But Here (2005), which continued to showcase his hard country-rock style, and it was another smashing success. In 2008, Cagle released his fourth studio album, My Life’s Been a Country Song. It debuted at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart, with the single “What Kinda Gone” peaking at No. 3 on the Hot Country Songs chart. In 2010, The album Back in the Saddle was issued in 2012 and peaked at No. 6 on the Top Country Albums chart.
