by Shabby722 on 9/28/09House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

Children of bodom is absolutely the best live band ever. Each time i see them they progress and make their live shows more appealing and fun. I had a great time and they pick great openers.

Children of Bodom was mind blowing!!!!!

by haleys91 on 9/28/09House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

This was my 3rd time seeing COB, 2nd time at the House of Blues, and they were amazing!!! the sound was great, they played everything that i wanted to here, and their overall performance was great!!! the only thing i would change was the crowd was really rowdy! i've been to a lot of metal shows before so i know that it can get a little crazy, but it was a little much. there was so much pushing and shoving that at times it was hard to even watch the show. The House of Blues is a great place to see a show and usually the staff is really good about keeping people in line over there but last night they could have done a little bit better! but other then that it was an awesome show! if u haven't seen Children Of Bodom yet i definitly recomend them! you're in for a real treat with great music and an awesome finnish band that will blow you away!!!!

    Children of Bodom, BDM, SkeletonWitch

by jakesnake3243 on 9/28/09House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

Skeletonwitch went first, they put on a very nice show. Next was BDM and they also put on a good show. I don't know why, but the lead guitar kept cutting in and out. Next was Children of Bodom. They shredded like always, but it was a short set, They didn't play at least 4 songs that are on their usual live set list. The House of Blues staff was rude and pushy.

Seen Bodom 4 times, this was the best one by far

by Reidcampbell on 9/27/09Sound Academy - Toronto

I'm huge fan of Bodom but have been disappointed in the past with short set times, and bad live mixes. Last nights show was bang on, they played for an hour and a 1/2 and the mix was great. Rhythm guitars could have been a little louder, but Alexi's solo's came through which is incredibly important to the Bodom experience. Band had great energy and definitely seemed to be happy playing for a enthusiastic Toronto crowd. My only complaint was they didn't play Bed of Razors Black Dahlia Murder was also insane, they pumped the crowd up

I have been waiting to see Children of Bodom for 4 years since my mom wouldn't let me go for my 16th birthday. I thought that they were absolutely AMAZING and I will go see them over and over again!

Good thrash, hot girls, intense music

by ChipPKT on 9/21/09Northern Lights - Clifton Park

This show was sick... Not too crowded... Good bands and it was just real intense. I was in the pit for a while, backed out and bumped into this hot girl. She turned me around and kissed me randomly. Hey, if you're reading this, nice to know you.

    Silent Night, Bodom Night

by DaRkEvE on 9/20/09Starland Ballroom - Sayreville

Children of Bodom was awesome! They even did two encores the crowd liked them so much. It isn't often you come across a band that is as good live as they are on their albums. They far surpassed my expectations. Skeletonwitch and the first band (don't know the name, maybe a local band) were really good too. Overall a great show!!

    Bodom was energeticly amazing!

by BodomLover on 9/20/09Starland Ballroom - Sayreville

Bodom had some powerful openers to follow energy wise, but once they came on, everyone knew they were gonna be unforgettable kicking things off with living dead beat and powerhousing their way throughout the concert with a perfect setlist playing many of their crowd favorites

    Bodom

    by happyface44r on 9/20/09Starland Ballroom - Sayreville

This show was pure awesomeness. Great energy, extreme moshing, crowd surfing. The band played hard keeping the songs going and even played a couple more encore songs. The opening set was pretty cool. Showed up late, only band I know of was Skeleton Witch. Starland had a full show but the bar areas were more of a cool hang out to relax after crowd surfing. Bottom line, Bodom was awesome, Starland was awesome.

    BODOM = GODS

    by radiotete1e2 on 9/20/09Starland Ballroom - Sayreville

Not only was Children of Bodom absolutely incredible, the venue was totally kick ass as well. It had a huge bar area where members of the opening bands were hanging out with the fans. The area also had an awesome view of the stage, so if the Bodom pit was too much for you, you could still have a kick ass time. They played for a solid 1 1/2 hours and played tons of old school songs that pleased a lot of the fans. I drove 6 hours from Pittsburgh, Pa for this show and it was totally worth it!
