Biggest issue was not hearing the songs or talking distinctively. Audio should have been louder and clearer.
I've always wanted to see Chicago. It did not disappoint. Will see it again.
One of the most enjoyable shows I've seen in quite a while. The music was well done, the acting outstanding, and the staging really simple but yet perfect for this performance.
The acting was so poor we left at intermission! This is my 4 time seeing this play, but by far the worst performance. The actors were boring and seemed to be half sleep. You could barely hear them at times.
The music was amazing. The main dancers were AWESOME!!! Roxie Hart danced like magic!!! She was a perfect fit for the part. Loved the show!!! I would make sure I attended this show!!!
Entertaining from beginning to end! I loved the music, choreography, and acting! It funny and it times heartfelt. 10/10 I recommend everyone go see Chicago! :)
This performance was decent, nothing spectacular. What made it better was the people of color being included with their passionate acting. The majority of the dancers were stiff.
I am a huge fan of Chicago. The band was on point with some amazing musicians. The vocals were spot on and beautiful. The dancing ranged from funny to provocative, all delivered perfectly. Overall it was a fantastic performance. And the Orpheum never disappoints, with great staff, helpful ushers, beautiful building and decor.
What a great performance. I would definitely recommend it.
I thought I had ordered good seats but they were in the “nose bleed” section & I don’t handle stairs well. Better designed map please. The sound system seemed messed up. The band played so loud you couldn’t hear the entertainers. (I heard other complaints about this. ). Didn’t get half what was said. The choreography was very good. Was surprised at the stage set. I assume that’s what the Chicago management arranged. I had issues with doing my tickets online. Ended up at the office & plopped down as the guest song was being played - even though we were there in plenty of time. I’m not sure I will bother to attend again at $70 a ticket. Sherry Rowbotham
The show was very good. I would give this a better score if we could have heard the words and music better. We sat in the 1st row of the upper tier. There didn't appear to be any speakers in use up there. It was very disappointing.
The some of them performers were very good, especially the lead to singers the attorney and the husband. But if I had not seen the movie, I would not have known what it was about. There was enough dialogue in the movie to understand the storyline.. It was difficult to make out in the songs why they were doing what they were doing.
Acting, singing, and dancing were great. Very professionally done.
We were on the first balcony and could not hear the dialogue at all. Thought it was just me because I had had an accident and was struggling to hear for about a month. Only to find out from my friends that they could not hear either. So we decided to leave at intermission.
The show was great. The venue was great very easy parking, staff was very friendly.
Loved the show. A little hard to hear actors over music and maybe just us but I could go without the g@# damn being used. We have had 2 years of season passes and might not get them again only because of this using the Lord's name on vain. Isn't there something else that could be said?
I got tickets for myself and my husband for Chicago. Got the Grand Tier. The point to is I’m in a wheelchair. You could see the faces or hardly anything. Not a good place. All the other tickets I got was for orchestra. Those where season tickets. Added Chicago on used filters and still got sucky sits. It’s my fault for not checking ahead of time.
THE AUDIO WAS LOWER THAN WE WOULD HAVE LIKED, OTHERWISE ENJOYED THE EVENING.
The music was wonderful. However the seats were awful considering I paid almost $200 for two tickets!!! You had to hang over the side to see the show from our BOX SEATS. The theater should not be allowed to sell tickets that are this obstructed.
