CHELSEA GRIN IN CONCERT:
Salt Lake City deathcore outfit Chelsea Grin has been melting the faces of metalheads everywhere with their dark, ferocious sound and epic live shows. On stage the band unleashes their extreme metal with savage ferocity and inhuman precision, whipping fans into a frenzy with a triple guitar onslaught, snaking basslines, and thundering drums. Frontman Alex Koehler lords over the mayhem with rabid intensity, menacingly growling his macabre lyrics about hell and damnation as if possessed by a demon. Fans in the crowd feed off his fiery passion, chanting ritualistically between songs and moshing with reckless abandon to the bandís breakneck tempos and bludgeoning riffs. As Chelsea Grin tears through brutal jams like ìCrewcabangerî and ìRecreantî, ticket buyers are fully immersed in the maelstrom of their hard-hitting sound.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Chelsea Grin formed in 2007 and found a fanbase almost immediately after uploading the tracks ìCrewcabangerî and ìLifelessî to Myspace. Following the release of a self-titled EP in 2008 they signed with Artery Records and issued their 2010 debut album Desolation of Eden to a No. 21 spot on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Their sophomore album My Damnation was an even bigger success, reaching No. 6 on the Hard Rock chart and leading to tours with bands like Attila and After the Burial. The band was a touring juggernaut between 2012-2014, hitting Europe several times and also rocking stateside fans with two stints on the Vans Warped Tour. Their third album, 2014ís Ashes to Ashes, was another commercial success, reaching No. 4 on the Hard Rock chart and drawing them out on several headlining tours. Following the 2016 release of their decibel-shattering single ìSkin Deepî and news that they signed on with Rise Records, Chelsea Grin promised fans that their fourth album would be their ìmost aggressive release to dateî.

Such awesome performances from all bands. Chelsea Grin and Shadow of Intent blew the crowd away. Great venue and great vibes all around.
These guys and everyone else at the show were absolutely awesome. Second time seeing most of them and hands down will be seeing them all again when they're near me.
Top notch could not be any better! Tom and the band were amazing! They took so much time with me and my son at the meet and greet and took so much time even after the meet and greet to talk to my son. Tom is one of his idols. Shoutout to security that kept us safe and hydrated too!
The concert was amazing I had a great time all 4 bands did a great job all of my friends that came with me thought the same thing it was worth the 7 hour travel by all means
Chelsea Grin did NOT disappoint! Awesome show and the meet and greet was well set up. The guys are all friendly, easily approachable and down to earth. No problem relating to the fans and like to joke around. All of the bands were awesome! Really got the crowd into the performance. Theatre Beanfield is well set up and you can easily move around. Definitely something I would go to again
I’ve been to this venue a couple of times in the past and they were a few sold out shows. This one was sold out and was just ridiculous with the amount of people. Seems like it was overly sold out. There was no more room to stand. My husband got fussed at for being in the pathway because there was no room. We ended up resorting to hanging out in the smoking area for majority of the night. Other than that we had a blast. Bartenders were super friendly and merch lines were easy to get through
Amazing performance, high energy, interactive with the crowd! Had an unexpectedly bumped into Tom after the show. Super friendly dude. 10/10 experience, def would recommend!
Absolutely one of the best shows I’ve ever been to such high energy. The crowd surfing was wild. The pit was wild. Everything was moving. My son and nephew got to meet David from Signs of the Swarm and Disembodied Tyrant hook them up with some memorabilia. It was a blast and definitely a concert they and I will remember. Absolutely check these guys out if you get the chance.
I went to the stacked lineup of Chelsea Grin, Shadow of Intent, Signs of the Swarm, and Disembodied Tyrant, and it was a great show. This was my second time seeing Chelsea Grin and Shadow of Intent, and they were great, but I really think Signs of the Swarm stole the show. That being said, every band was a blast and is worth seeing. You won't be disappointed.
