Can you imagine the routine 1970's Cheech and Chong would have made of current America, what with marijuana decriminalized in a dozen states and legal for adults in a couple? The fact is, the inspired combination of East L.A.'s Richard "Cheech" Marin and Canadian Tommy Chong has always been ahead of its time, above and beyond their views on cannabis. Their legendary records-- not to mention movies like Up in Smoke and 2012's Cheech & Chong's Animated Movie-- helped pave the way to the absurdist slice of life comedy of everyone from Seth Rogen to Aziz Anasri.
The duo broke up bitterly during the mid '80's and took different paths, with Marin finding success as an actor in movies like Tin Cup and on TV's Nash Bridges, and Chong solidifying his place as both a comedic actor on "That 70's Shows" and as a marijuana activist. When they joined forces in 2008 and began touring againÑ Cheech had gone through a divorce, and Chong had just gotten out of prisonÑtheir concerts teemed with unbridled joy of two lovers reunited, and there was an immediate sense that the two were going to stick. At this point, Cheech & Chong have found their rhythm together, and ticket holders can expect both throwbacks to the pair's colorful past and surprises that show them to be as ready to push the cultural envelope now as they were in the 1970's.

Zapp never disappoint in there shows. Everyone on the set of in a great show!!!
Zapp was incredible... All acts had the crowd up and moving.
It was a great experience the only thing was that we thought Cheech and Chong we're hosting the covert and we were disappointed when we only saw them twice the whole time. It shouldn't have been publicized that they were hosting if they weren't. Besides that everything was great.
Just a blast! Totally funky! Only white people in the crowd.
The venue was awesome! The staff was very friendly! Definitely coming back for another show.
Every single artist did an amazing job from Start (Rosie Cortez & The Bliss Band) to Finish (Zapp) Can’t wait for the next one!
Venue was great its nice but did not care for some of the bands and Cheech & Chong were out 2 times very short time. Last bands were the best. Thought drinks were way over priced for that type of venue and not all people use debit card or credit card to pay which was a inconvenience, some people do use cash only.
It was good, but there was some performers that were on the line up, that didn’t show up.
what a great experience. the crowd was absolutely on fire!! the music was good but the people made the whole thing! staff was great. very professional, very helpful. get to the next funkfest and be prepared to dance the night away.
The concert started at 5:45pm instead of 7:00 pm and I was notified a day before about the time change. There was 3 performers that didn’t preform. I will never go to a concert that is put on by the same promoter
Had a Blast tho we couldn't see the performers clear on the big screens.
Think this was the best well organized event at this location because it was a larger outdoor venue
I went to the event to really see Cheech and Chong. They only ended up coming out for a minute or two in the middle of the bands. While it was awesome to see them, it was a little bit of a let down that they were not on more. Some of the bans were good. The audio for the instruments was way louder than the audio for the voices. The voices were drowned out by the instruments.
It was amazing Cheech an Chong are legends we seen them in Irvine 9/5/21 it was fun exciting an danced the whole time. It was awesome had a great time Especially No fights its was very happy an comfortable. Loved it
Great show! Went with 5 others and we were very impressed with the show and energy of these guys! Would go again!
Beautiful place great show Hi Vic if uvucucycuchchchchchchh
100 minutes of non-stop hilarity from these 2 icon stoners...
They were amazing. It was a really memorable show. They are still hysterical and real.
They had so much more material they could have used. The show was too short. I did like shelby Chong though.
