  • Keep er moving

by Good & clean & funny on 5/12/25Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts - Terry Theater - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

5/5. Wasn’t sure I’d be able to handle an hour plus, considering I only have watched skits of him & every so often there’s a bad one. But his stand up was definitely 97/100. One of the better shows I’ve been to!

Funny, relatable, just good fun!! Charlie didn't disappoint.

  • Many Laughs

by Norske on 4/15/25Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts - Terry Theater - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

It was a great night with many, many laughs. The first comedian was good but Charlie was the best. I wish that he would have done more things like the Manitowoc Minute. Great show over all.

Absolutely loved the Midwest humor. All ages can enjoy this type of humor.

  • Seated Shows at Steelhouse Omaha Are DREADFUL

by LoveLiveShows on 4/8/25Steelhouse Omaha - OmahaRating: 4 out of 5

5 star shows, Zero star seats. Have attended many shows at Steelhouse. Only 2 that were reserved seats. The reserved seats are awful!! I'm not a big person and it's a tight fit - shoulder to touching shoulder. And you can't move the chairs (I get it). One of the shows was fortunately end seats, but still too small. It's truly ridiculous. At one show we got up and stood on the perimeter with many other people. Many people were sitting sideways or on an angle. My friends have stopped wanting to attend seated shows because of it. Please, you really should do better if you INVITE people to buy tickets to support your business and then make it really uncomfortable. And forget about it if you have a coat. I expected more from an Omaha performing arts venue.

  • Charlie Berens

by Cole on 4/2/25Capital One Hall - TysonsRating: 5 out of 5

Hilarious! Not just Midwest funny and tons of material.

  • Wisconsin boy makes good!

by Ellison Bay on 4/2/25Capital One Hall - TysonsRating: 5 out of 5

Charlie's just a darn funny guy. His humor draws deep from his childhood in Milwaukee and his stories are fun, and generally relatable. He's definitely worth seeing, and take the family--his language is clean, though there may be humorous double entendres.

  • Berens = a great date night show

by SShaffer on 3/26/25Alliant Energy PowerHouse - Cedar RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

This was a fun night to share with a date - the openers were good but didn’t overshadow Berens. His material is so on-point for anyone who grew up in the Midwest or has family here!! It’s also ‘clean’ (far more so than many comedians) comedy which is truly refreshing. Berens interacted well with the audience. I’d love to see him in Eastern Iowa again!
