    Harmony divine

by Kenaddy on 4/15/13Victory Theatre - Evansville

Wasn't sure what to expect but how nice to hear the melodious sounds of voices with no instruments. Truly a very gifted group. We are seniors and I would have liked more info on senior discounts since this was our first event. Was unable to reach someone in a reasonable time on the automated number.

    Chanticleer Exceeds Expectations!

by Hoops6 on 12/16/12Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

This concert has become an annual event for us and each year Chanticleer lifts our holiday spirits to new heights. Many new faces and voices in this edition of Chanticleer; but their sound was magnificent. They always make advantageous use of the superior acoustics of Disney Concert Hall. We will look forward to hearing them in December 2013 at the next holiday concert.

Chanticleer: A mighty chorus in outstanding form!

by Frenetic23 on 12/14/12Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without Chanticleer's annual concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall. The guys were in fine voice, the selections were inspired, and the audience was nearly hysterical with delight. The Ave Maria was once again a phenomenal piece of music to round out the night's delightful sounds. The ferocious applause and standing ovation brought the singers back for two encores. HEAVEN!

    Chanticleer always brings Christmas cheer!

by jayst1030 on 12/14/12Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

After being introduced by my Father 8 years ago, we have made Chanticleers' annual Christmas concert part of our Christmas traditition. Growing up singing in a chamber choir, both my Father and myself enjoy reliving some memories. Walt Disney Concert Hall has probably the best acoustics possible for an acapella performance such as Chanticleer.

    Chanticleer Singing = STUNNING

by MusicaViva on 12/14/12Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

Some of the most incredible, unbelievable ensemble singing imaginable. As a professional singer, much of my experience in small vocal ensembles like Chanticleer, I can say that it is utterly astonishing to hear them sing. Top-notch, mind-boggling that its even possible to sing so well live. Blend was luscious and seamless, onsets and cut-offs right on to the point of making me a little crazy wondering how they do it so flawlessly. Every single voice was gorgeous. I can't praise them highly enough.

    Chanticleer continues to amaze!

by Acrossthestyles on 5/6/12STEPHENS AUDITORIUM - Ames

While the names and faces change, the talent and level performance remain as high as ever for this San Francisco-based group. No wonder they're the top male a capella group in the world!

    Chanticleer rocked the house

by Frenetic23 on 12/17/11Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

Another wonderful evening of beautiful singing by the world's best a cappella choral group! The men were in fine voice, and the seasonal selections were nicely balanced in both tempo and mood. Overall a fabulous performance. Can't wait until next year's concert!

    Chanticleer a Must See

by FanTiCleer on 5/5/11Fitzgerald Theater - St Paul

The 4/27 Chanticleer concert was wonderful, the guys displayed an amazing range of vocal talents, and utterly charmed us in the audience! My only complaint is with the Fitz itself - the seats are crammed together so tightly with so little leg room that it was uncomfortable to sit there, but even that didn't really diminish the enjoyment of Chanticleer. Highly recommended!!!!

    Chanticleer needs a good acoustic

by steveinrow2 on 4/29/11Fitzgerald Theater - St Paul

Much too dry of an acoustic for a fantastic rep list. Exceptional intonation. Full, rich mezzos (all,) great vocal flexibility. Nice stage presence.

    Chanitcleer amazing as always

by Anonymous on 4/29/11Fitzgerald Theater - St Paul

Chanticleer is amazing. The sopranos rock, but the bass holds it all together. I was really impressed with the soloists and how they could blend with the other voices when needed, but also stand out from the crowd when the music demanded. The throat singing knocked my socks off! Being able to hear this group at the Fitz in such an intimate setting was icing on the cake.

These gentlemen have wonderful voices and carry a lovely balance. We especially enjoyed the Gospel numbers, but were enthralled by the whole performance.

    Glorious chanticleer

by CaroSinger on 4/29/11Fitzgerald Theater - St Paul

A wonderful and riveting evening for novice and musical sophisticate alike. I have been Singing all my life and am an admitted musical snob. I was overcome, delighted and humbled by the artistry and the sound. A terrific experience.

A wonderful mix of vocal selections from the sixteenth century to modern. They are fantastic performers who are not only superb musicians but also very personable.
