    No Chris Brown

by sarahubb on 2/7/12Hinkle Fieldhouse - Indianapolis

I am in love with Chris Brown! He was suppose to be at this event and did not appear because he was practicing for the Grammy's. I would have liked it if there were more of an announcement that he wasn't going to be there. I found out from other people.

    Celebrity Hoops was forgettable

by hartster on 2/6/12Hinkle Fieldhouse - Indianapolis

Great cause #1. The celebrities were few, and there were too many local people. This should have been called the Indianapolis Thank you event. I would not spend $66 on tickets for this unless the list of participants were better than what it was this year.

It was Indy celebs not real celebs

by NoCelebs on 2/6/12Hinkle Fieldhouse - Indianapolis

For all celebs in town for Super Bowl I see why they had something better to do. All hype no delivery.

    One or two celebrities

by Mistamattb on 2/6/12Hinkle Fieldhouse - Indianapolis

One or two celebrities actually played in game. I would say false advertising but they did have 2 (two) celebrities in the game. What a waste.

    Gridiron Celebrity Hoops

by Barrick on 2/6/12Hinkle Fieldhouse - Indianapolis

It appeared to be very unorganized. While a worthwhile charity event it was below expectations. This organization should obtain commitments from celebrities in advance and not at the last moment. That would help ticket sales and the level of anticipation for the event. Also, it was advertised as a picture and autograph friendly event and wasn't.

    Celebrity basketball at Hinkle

by Jindy on 2/6/12Hinkle Fieldhouse - Indianapolis

Overall it was a pleasant experience. not great basketball, but it was a charity event. The kids involved through dance and singing, were incredible. Seeing the celebs play basketball was at times funny, but it was fun seeing them up close at Hinkle.

Stars were so-so. Chris Brown never showed as advertised online when tickets were purchased. The stars seemed willing to sign autographs during breaks but security was quick to keep everyone away from the floor. The event just seemed to lack excitement.

    No Chris!

by KayKK on 2/6/12Hinkle Fieldhouse - Indianapolis

Newspaper said Chris Brown would be there...not! Very disappointed group of teen girls.

    don't waste your money

by hoopsless on 2/6/12Hinkle Fieldhouse - Indianapolis

I was sadly disappointed in this event. The teams were not even closely matched. The celebs (which is a stretch!!) on one side would just walk on and off the court and didn't care the rules of the game. In fact, they were called multiple times for having too many players in the game. If you call it a game, make it a game!! Judging the occupancy in the 4th quarter I wasn't the only one disappointed

Gridiron Celebrity Hoops was not worth the $

by bthreetimes on 2/6/12Hinkle Fieldhouse - Indianapolis

First off, I'm very surprised that the Super Bowl puts their name on this event. The only reason I bought tickets was because it was a sponsored event and I thought that meant real celebrity participation. However, we show up and the only athlete that was a real celebrity was Dez Bryant. Tamikia Catchings also showed up late and I appreciate her as a hoops celebrity too. People might quote Terrell Owens, but lets face it, his celebrity status has fell off a lot and he actually complained about calls in a charity hoops game. Get out of here... My friend and I skipped the Pacers game that we have season tickets for, thinking this event would bring in celebrities that we would know and be excited about, but this fell far far short of our expectations. Especially since the Pacers game had Adam Sandler and Floyd Merriweather as well as a quality NBA contest against the Magic for the same price!!!! I think Super Bowl should remove their name from this unless they are going to put the effort towards getting real celebrities in the future.

Gridiron Celebrity Hoops was a disappointment

by Anonymous on 2/6/12Hinkle Fieldhouse - Indianapolis

This was hyped to be a "gridiron" celebrity basketball game, however it was anything but that. I'll stick to attending Pacer games!

Could of intereacted with the whole audience more

    by db2130 on 2/6/12Hinkle Fieldhouse - Indianapolis

I wish they would of spent some time on the other side of the court. Mostly the people on one side of the court good see them but on our side they never came over to see us

    Gridiron Celebrity Hoops was awful

    by Oliver86 on 2/6/12Hinkle Fieldhouse - Indianapolis

The Gridiron Celebrity Hoops forgot the celebrities as well as any entertainment value. I was expecting to see celebrities play basketball, but it was just a run and gun from players with no skills. The event didn't even start on time as promoted. Very sad that I spent money on this event.

    game was ok

    by tk0109 on 2/6/12Hinkle Fieldhouse - Indianapolis

Game wasn't exciting. Good venue. Decent celebs. More women should be playing.

Dwight really knows how to put on a great show! It was fun, entertaining, and a nice event for the entire family! Since the basketball season won't be taking place this year, I'm glad Dwight was able to pull some players together to come out for a good cause! Especially Courtney Lee!!! ;-)

It was pretty good. The game didn't start on time, and I expected to see more action, but it was pretty good. Plus, it was for charity, and you can't really go wrong with that.

The event was pretty good. However I wish the basketball players would have played more and there were not so many interruptions during the game.

    Make this an annual event

by Jackee24 on 11/17/11NEW UCF ARENA - ORLANDO

I loved every minute. The players were awesome being very kind to and patient with the fans. The special guests and entertainment was wondeful. This was an amazing thing D12 did for charity and the community. (As well as those of us missing our NBA due to the lockout. LOL) I would love to see them make this an annual event.
