Perfect Bowie Selections with great vocals and sound
What a great show. Every musician was excellent. It was cool how different musicians would sing the lead vocals on different Bowie songs. Jeffrey Gaines has a very beautiful and very powerful voice. Todd and Jeffery's vocals plus harmonies were sweet. Thanks kid. Great show!
Parking was free and easy. Acoustics were great. Bowie celebration took me back to a simpler world and happy place for 2.5 hrs.
Show was great. All performers were excellent. However, we did not appreciate Todd’s political commentary at the end of the show.
Always love Penn’s Peak venue. And the music and the musicians performing were great!
Great show. Brought back many memories. Extremely talented group of performers.
We thoroughly enjoyed the show. The musicianship on display was phonomenal. Todd Rudgren and Adrian Bellew's guitar playing were sublime and we wanted them to play longer. That said, the show was only an hour and twenty minutes including the encore, which we believe for the money should have definitely been longer. Also, we would have like some chatter from the musicians to personalize things, like they care that we are actually there. We know it's about the music and it was excellent but a little humaness would have been nice. In addition, while we love ALL of the songs that were played, it would have also been nice to hear some deeper cuts. Thank you. The Three Muskateers
Really enjoyed the concert celebrating David Bowie. All of the musicians were very talented and mastered their instruments. All of the singers had wonderful voices. Todd Rundgren put on a good show. I loved all of his outfit changes. song selection was very good over a two hour show.
The good; the band sounded great. The bad; very short show. It started a half hour late, at 8:30 and ended at 10. They didn't play at least a half dozen songs that they played at other shows. The parking at the venue, Harrah's, was a joke. We circled garage for a half hour, with dozens of others, without finding a spot. Nobody manned the garage, and we had to pay $15 to leave. Valet parking was $40. Plan ahead, Uber there.
Selection of songs and the artists who sang them were amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Had the audience on their feet.
The show was phenomenal. Every entertainer was outstanding. if you’re a Bowie fan, this is a must see show. So glad I went!!!
Was pretty sure it would be a good show Turned out to be amazing!!! Great to see a seasoned group of musicians that still have their A Game Love that Todd always delivers with a side of cheekiness Fun fun Thank you Mr Bowie⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The setlist! The musicianship! Everything was so well done- loved it
Todd Rundgren and all of the musicians were spectacular! Great talent and awesome venue
It was a fantastic show but my friend who attended with me (another professional sound engineer) and I both thought it was way too loud. We understand the challenges of a mix like this in a one-off setup with a large band but it was painful and detracted from the otherwise-awesome show.
Great show. High energy from the band and audience. Musicians were tight and on point. Would see them again!!!
I know Adrian and toured and opened up for him in 99 , I had trouble navigating the Ticketmaster Google box but they easily looked me up and I was in … it was packed and we were the last seats in the farthest nose bleed balcony . Sound was good and Adrian was the best one on the stage , voice and guitar and humor ! That had to have been a tough show to mix ? The back up vocals were sometimes too much out front and 3 electric guitar going at the same time wad a lil much at times . The FishBone guy was very entertaining and everyone was really good especially the beautiful bass player ! Adrian’s voice was really great and he’s a chameleon with his vocals , sounding like Bowie like he has done with other bands , Talking Heads , Zappa, king K .
I went in with modest expectations and was absolutely blown away! With 5 people covering different Bowie vocals I was more than a little amazed. As I expected Todd Rundgren was perhaps the least "Bowie" like, you just can't hide his voice and it sounds like Todd singing Bowie. I was perhaps the most surprised by Adrian Belew. He absolutely nailed it! Add to that his amazing stunt guitar work. Royston Langdon just sounds like Bowie period, I guess I never made the connection before. Angelo Moore brought the voice and theatrics of Bowie. And Angelo Bandini was rock solid as a vocalist and bandleader. There were times I wondered; "is that a backing track?" only to see Angeline Saris was carrying a huge load on bass. The whole band was fantastic! What a show! Don't miss it!
This was a great tribute to David Bowie! I have been a Todd Rundgren fan since the 70’s so I just knew it had to be good, and it did not disappoint! It was a mind blowing night of nonstop, no intermission, great entertainment for more than two and a half hours! Every Musician on that stage were amazing Artists. It was an abundant talent overload...It was one of the best Concerts I had ever had the pleasure to enjoy! The Cabot was a very nice venue as well! It was a night to remember 💗
A great lineup of all-stars brought the Bowie experience to the Cabot, with a Best-of set list, great lighting and costumes, and impeccable musicianship. I heard complaints that it got too loud, and I could have done with more listenable levels myself.
