Cedric The Entertainer on Tour
It's easy to see how Cedric Antonio Kyles, famously known as Cedric The Entertainer, earned his name over the last several decades. The American actor, comedian, producer, and TV show host has spent decades delivering laughs on stages big and small. Cedric is best known for his side-splitting standup material while touring as one of the Original Kings of Comedy, a series Spike Lee later compiled into a film for America to enjoy in 2000. The powerhouse comedian is also loved for co-starring on "The Steve Harvey Show" -- a role that won an NAACP award for Best Supporting Actor. You might also know him as the lead character, Eddie Walker, in Barbershop, or as the host of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" from 2013-'14. Cedric's other projects include five seasons on the CBS sitcom "The Neighborhood," the show "Johnson" on Bounce TV, and his own HBO comedy special. Now, you can see Cedric The Entertainer live on tour as he goes back to his roots, performing hilarious standup comedy across the country.
Cedric The Entertainer Live
This happily married father of three was born on April 24, 1964, in Jefferson City, Missouri. His keen sense of style and uncanny ability to rock a hat with every ensemble started in high school when Cedric developed a severe rash on his head -- something he has said he is no longer embarrassed by but instead proud of. After receiving a degree from Southeastern Missouri State and bouncing between jobs, he decided to pursue comedy full-time in Los Angeles, where he now lives with his family. There, he'd become a major player in the 1990s Era of Hip Hop Comedy, helping to transform what initially began as an experiment into an unforgettable experience as Black comics got their voice on stage. While still an emerging talent, Cedric hosted BET's "ComicView" in 1993-'94 and "Def Comedy Jam" in 1995 before co-starring on the WB sitcom and appearing in the Spike Lee documentary. Cedric expanded his acting career while pursuing comedy and landed in films such as Big Momma's House, Get Smart, Be Cool, and Code Name: The Cleaner. The Entertainer lent his comedic voice to characters in Ice Age, Madagascar series, and Charlotte's Web. A true, all-around performer and a cultural icon, he's appeared on Broadway, in two multi-platinum albums, as the lead comedian at the White House Correspondents Dinner, and was even featured as a character in a video game. You won't want to miss your chance to see Cedric The Entertainer live on tour.

The great Cedric The Entertainer has once again shown his natural funny ability to ensure his audience laughter with his great comedic skills, keeping us on the edge of our seats, holding on not to fall onto the floor with outburst of thrilling laughter. Katt Williams is completely wrong about Cedric. By far Cedric The Entertainer is the most superior comedian
It was horrible the line to get drinks was way too long and only two servers it took us 30 minutes to get a soda. Also the show didn't start on time we sat in the event center for a whole hour before we just decided to leave and the show still hadn't even started so it was supposed to start at 8pm and we left at 9:30 pm. So I am really disappointed.
I like Ced. Unfortunately, this show wasn't funny. It appears that he's trying to appeal to a much younger crowd. However, it's the old heads that like the old Cedric the Entertainer. I will say for a big guy, he can dance. Sorry Ced, bring back the old you.
I really enjoyed the opening acts, especially Malik. Unfortunately I had a difficult time understanding Cedric much of the time so I didn't get many of his jokes.
I laughed so hard the whole show. Cedric was hilarious. I will definitely go see him again!!
Small chairs that are usually used for round tables crammed next to each other on a flat surface! I couldn’t see the show because taller people were in front of me. I had to watch the entire show on the tv monitor! If they have coat check, it’s in a secret hiding spot. I will never go to SoundBoard again. The comedians were good. I enjoyed JJ Williams as much as Ced!
Had a great time, it started late. Saw 3 good comedians.
Cedric the entertainer was anything but. Man is not funny at all now. He is past his prime. He was just talking, rambling on, no prepared jokes. Save your money for Kat Williams or Eddie Griffin.
I was really excited to see Cedric, while he is still funny--I think it fell a bit flat. Enjoyed the 2nd guy much better. He could have held the entire show himself.
