Cedric The Entertainer on Tour

It's easy to see how Cedric Antonio Kyles, famously known as Cedric The Entertainer, earned his name over the last several decades. The American actor, comedian, producer, and TV show host has spent decades delivering laughs on stages big and small. Cedric is best known for his side-splitting standup material while touring as one of the Original Kings of Comedy, a series Spike Lee later compiled into a film for America to enjoy in 2000. The powerhouse comedian is also loved for co-starring on "The Steve Harvey Show" -- a role that won an NAACP award for Best Supporting Actor. You might also know him as the lead character, Eddie Walker, in Barbershop, or as the host of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" from 2013-'14. Cedric's other projects include five seasons on the CBS sitcom "The Neighborhood," the show "Johnson" on Bounce TV, and his own HBO comedy special. Now, you can see Cedric The Entertainer live on tour as he goes back to his roots, performing hilarious standup comedy across the country.

Cedric The Entertainer Live

This happily married father of three was born on April 24, 1964, in Jefferson City, Missouri. His keen sense of style and uncanny ability to rock a hat with every ensemble started in high school when Cedric developed a severe rash on his head -- something he has said he is no longer embarrassed by but instead proud of. After receiving a degree from Southeastern Missouri State and bouncing between jobs, he decided to pursue comedy full-time in Los Angeles, where he now lives with his family. There, he'd become a major player in the 1990s Era of Hip Hop Comedy, helping to transform what initially began as an experiment into an unforgettable experience as Black comics got their voice on stage. While still an emerging talent, Cedric hosted BET's "ComicView" in 1993-'94 and "Def Comedy Jam" in 1995 before co-starring on the WB sitcom and appearing in the Spike Lee documentary. Cedric expanded his acting career while pursuing comedy and landed in films such as Big Momma's House, Get Smart, Be Cool, and Code Name: The Cleaner. The Entertainer lent his comedic voice to characters in Ice Age, Madagascar series, and Charlotte's Web. A true, all-around performer and a cultural icon, he's appeared on Broadway, in two multi-platinum albums, as the lead comedian at the White House Correspondents Dinner, and was even featured as a character in a video game. You won't want to miss your chance to see Cedric The Entertainer live on tour.

I needed a few giggles that night. I appreciated Cedric the Entertainer showing up. He is definitely a classy comedian. Sometimes you gotta let people talk. When they talk it makes you better.

    Had fun!

by Dawn Dizzle on 1/15/24Sound Board at MotorCity Casino Hotel - Detroit

The comics before Ceddie were awesome. Ced spent a couple minutes too many talking about Katt Williams. I loved The vibe. Crowd was good too.

    Worth it

by Trip on 1/7/24United Center - Chicago

For the price paid for tickets was worth every dollar. Got to see six different people perform. Even though you probably have heard the jokes before they still make you laugh and I laughed all night.

Great show! Lot’s of laughs! I can do without all the songs in between acts using the N word and the all N word jokes but otherwise it was very funny!

    Needed an intermission

by Lane on 1/6/24United Center - Chicago

The arrival to the show was great (parking, entrance into the theater, ushers helping with seats, and seats were great). We arrived ahead of time so everything went smoothly! The ushers were kind and helpful. Didn't get stripped search at the entry. The entry reps were cool and actually spoke back when spoken to. This was a mature audience so you didn't have the mean mugs on ur way to ur seat, when the hallways were packed headed out of the show nor during arrival. Still had time to chill b4 the show got started. It did start 26 mins. after the 8pm showtime. B Cole was funny! Earthquake as the emcee segments were too long (maybe that was the contractual obligation). Damon Williams did his thing as always! Bruce Bruce was a gentleman! DL was politically funny as always and he kept it coming and the Star of the Show was hilarious as always! I've always liked Cedrics comedy! His segment was short tho! Don't seem like he even did 30 mins. We REALLY needed an intermission after all that we were entertained with. B Cole, Earthquake, Damon Williams, DC Curry, Bruce Bruce, DL Hughley and Cedric the entertainer. If was alot to sit thru for 3 hours.

    Disappointed

by JB on 1/6/24EagleBank Arena - Fairfax

I thought he would be funnier but he wasn't. We left before his act finished. DL should have been the headliner for the show.

This was one of the best shows I have ever attended. The only challenge was the seating. Need more space between the attendees

    New Year disappointment

by Phil on 1/5/24United Center - Chicago

Show was good . Only disappointment was Cedric didn’t bring the show to an end at midnight. That was what I and a lot of fans thought was going to happen. How cool and fun that would have been.

    The worst ever

by Keylow on 1/4/24United Center - Chicago

Me and my Husband was on the second level 1st row. We couldn’t see at all. The t.v screen was smaller than usual. The jokes was old. Not happy at all.

Great Venue, not expensive, all the comedians were funny as hell. Great time, a few crazies, but no violence. Young people should have experienced this event.
